The Wrong Timeline

Nishikata Had Enough

"Takagi san." Nishikata called to her sadly.

"W-what's wrong Nishikata? You look sad." Takagi replied.

"It's been 2 years of non-stop teasing and I couldn't even tease back." The voice of Nishikata is that bland and sounded really depressed.

"W-well you should try harder-"

"I AM TRYING BUT I HAD ENOUGH!"

"Huh?" Takagi san was about to cry when Nishikata yelled at her.

"I-im sorry Takagi san."

"N-no. I-its fine." Takagi lets out a tear but turned around so that Nishikata couldn't see.

"I promised myself that if I don't ever tease you even once then I will give up. It's been like that for 2 years, I will come up with a plan and execute but you always get the upper hand. You are really better at teasing. I'm not worthy to tease you back anymore, I HAVE ENOUGH OF THIS." It echoed in Takagi's mind of what Nishikata had said.

"Nishikata... I like you." Takagi said as a last resort.

"Is that another teasing? I'm sorry Takagi san, as I said, I had enough."

"IT'S TRUE! I LIKE YOU!" Takagi screamed with all her feelings.

When she opened her eyes, sadness welled up on her and tears fell down. Nishikata was nowhere to be found and left her.

"He really wanted to win at least once in teasing but I still continued to corner him." She said to herself crying and sniffling.

"But that's the way I show my love for him, I truly truly love him. Why would it end like this..." And thus Takagi walked slowly to her house.
