The Wrong Timeline

Ayumu's Kendo Partner Part 1

"Ugh what is taking Ayumu so long? It's club room time right?" Urushi exclaimed.

"Hmmm, maybe he's pursuaded again to join the Kendo team?"

She felt a bit of pain in her heart thinking about that.

"No, that's impossible. I know he won't join, he's a bonafide club member of the Shogi club after all ahahaha."

The door suddenly opened.

"Ah Ayu-"

"Hello senpai." Greeted Ayumu.

"W-why are you holding a kendo stick?" She asked.

"Oh, my body is getting a bit out of shape so if our shogi club gets a new 4th member and becomes official then I'll leave the kendo club."

Urushi can't believe what he's saying, she is also at a loss for words.

"Are you okay senpai?" Ayumu asked her.

"Uh.. mmm" she nods.

"Okay then, well I'm off to kendo practice then. You can come and stop by anytime if you want." Ayumu leaves.

...

Urushi started playing shogi with herself and the only sound heard from the room is the clack of the shogi pieces.

Urushi packed her things and went home, on her way home, she thought about what Ayumu said.

"I got to get a 4th member or else..." She anxiously muttered.

The next day.

"C'mon Maki! Join the shogi club please!" Urushi pleaded.

"I'm sorry Urushi but i really can't, i have a club now you see."

"Too bad... Okay Maki, see you later then."

Urushi pursuaded students she meets just to get a 4th member but she always gets turned down.

It was club room time and she went to to the shogi club. She sets up the board as always and waits for Ayumu, only this time though, Ayumu is at the Kendo club.

"At this rate, he'll really leave the shogi club."

She remembers the times and moments Ayumu spent with her.

"Ahhhh i swear! This is just too frustrating!"

She remembered that Ayumu told her to come by and watch him train any time.

"Well, i guess i should go."

She went to the kendo club room.

When she arrived, she noticed that there was just one student there.

"A-Ayumu!" She called and waved at him.

"Ah Senpai!" Ayumu was surprised.

"What are you doing here senpai?"

"Oh i uhm, just came to check on you."

"Is that so? Let me finish up my routine okay?"

"Okay!" Urushi was really glad to see him.

"Ayumu, shall we continue?"

A girl suddenly appeared.

'who's that girl?' Urushi was shocked.
