Ciara's POV
"You...love me?". He let down his hand. His eyes widen as he stared in shock. "Of course I do you idiot! How could you not see the signs?". He tilted his head." I-I thought you were being platonic!". I facepalm after he stuttered.
"I'm sorry I didn't notice...". I turn my face to the moon and blush as he scratches his head. "Ciara will you...forgive me?". I stayed silent for a few seconds and finally sigh. " Fine...but only because I love you..". I turn to face him and held his hands.
"Now answer my question, do you.. love me back?". He looks away. I think he's trying to hide his blush but I can see his cheek gets redder. "I-". Kane clears his throat. "-I 'll give you the answer when we get home".
His reply got me furious so I grip his shirt and make his face close to mine. "Answer my question Kane, Do.You.Love.Me". I look deeply into his eyes. "But we need to-". "Before I kiss you, you better tell me". Without thinking about what I said, I blushed.
Kane startles a little but then gives me an...emotionless face? "Are you sure you want to know?". I grip his shirt tauter. "Just...don't go yet". He holds my hand and lets out a relieved sigh.
I flinched as he pulls me in for a kiss by holding my chin with his thumb and index finger. I close my eyes as the moon shines brighter. In this middle of a night...is a night to remember.
