Kuma's p.o.v

Then a light broke through the black...

I stood, almost paralysed as I looked around, the train they were on was going to come soon. Why was I on the tracks? I didn't know. I saw a light begging to grow in the distance, that was it. The train why couldn't I move..? It felt like I was being held in place, then I heard his voice.

I was standing on the tracks...

"KUMA!!" Astrea yelled, I couldn't turn my head, my eyes filled with tears as I began to close them, waiting to feel the impact but it never came, I heard him yell again, this time his voice was louder. Was he coming to me? No! No Astrea he'll get hit too!! I tried to move but nothing worked, I heard the train coming closer, as well as Astrea's voice.

That little light began to grow. There was no where I could go-o-o..

Then I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me and a gust of wind, My eyes opened when I felt my back bit the ground, my tears flowing quickly but no noise came from my mouth. How did I get there..? Why couldn't I move? The train had toppled over on the opposite side to the rails to me and Astrea. That's when I began to sob. The paralysis had ended and I returned Astrea's warm embrace. We lay there, both in tears.

And the ground began to shake, no time left to hit the breaks. That little light was company, suddenly I'm floating!!

"I-I couldn't move- Astrea-..thank you so much.." My voice shook and he held my head to his chest.
"I made a promise to protect you, and I swear to keep it till the day I die..now come, we need to help Rengoku." He got up and held me closely, we shared this moment in peace before I felt my body had fully awoken, looking at my love, my saviour I smiled. When he was near all my troubles disappeared. He was the one I wanted to be with for eternity, he was my eternal flame.
