*Tony's POV*

This was so perfect. Apparently, Fer's parents were grossly rich, and had bought the whole lake, part of the surrounding forest, and the small cabin. But it hadn't been meant as a rebel paradise, surprisingly, it'd originally been bought as a "punishment". When Fer would act up, or get in a fight, her parents would send her away to the cabin. When her parents found out she'd dropped out of law school to me a mechanic with Evan, they'd given her three million dollars, and disowned her.

"SCARLETT TO TONY, COME IN TONY," Scarlett shrieked in my ear, making me jump. I'd been sitting on one of the many black couches in the living room, thinking of how heartless someone must be to disown their own child. "This is Tony, how may I help you?" I quoted Scarlett. "Well, you could help me cook. But you get grossed out, so you could help me with the groceries, but you're really lazy, so.. help me clean." She shoved a broom into my hands, then skipped away into the kitchen, triumphant.

"Scaaar, but I hate cleaning." She turned around from the stove she'd been leaning over, rolled her eyes, and once again put the broom in my hands. "Come on, you're a big boy now. Clean the living room." She began to taunt me. "Just clean, it's gonna' be okay. J-j-j-just just clean," Jaime walked into the light blue kitchen in his red TMNT pijamas, hair even messier than usual, singing a remade version of a pop song I didn't really know.

"Hey Jaime. Pancakes?" Scarlett asked, then pulled two plates from a cabinet, serving me and Jaime. "Might as well feed you before I make you work." She mumbled against my snapback. Then, she filled a glass with cold, freezing water, and walked into the room the Fuentes brothers were sharing. I picked up a fork and took a bite out of the pile of pancakes as I heard a splash, a squeal, and a giggle, followed by a body making cruel contact with the hardwood floors, and fleeing feet pounding against the floor.

"WHY SCARLETT, WHY?! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF GENTLY WAKING SOMEBODY UP?!" Mike barged into the kitchen, pursuing Scarlett with a glass now empty of water. "Nope. It's 2:54 PM, lazy ass. Now you go gently wake up Vic." Lately, Mike had been victim of Scarlett's devilishness, making me almost feel sorry. "You know, Mike doesn't squeal quietly, and I'm a light sleeper, so there's no need to gently wake me up." Victor walked in the now full kitchen, Jaime and I attempting to hide our smirks at the hilarious scene.

" 'Kay 'den, sit your asses down while I serve pancakes." They both obeyed, Vic sitting next to me and resting a sleepy head on my shoulder. Mike sat next to Jaime, but he rested his arm on Jaime's small shoulder. "Here we go, eat while I clean. Tony, clean the table when everyone's done." She walked away into the living room and plugged in her headphones to a volume anyone could hear fifteen feet away.

Before I knew it, Vic was the last one eating, leaving me to begin cleaning. "-YOUTH AND WHISKEY.... HEYHEY BROTHERS, HEYHEY FIGHTERS, HEYHEY DA DA NANANADADALALA," Scarlett screamed at the top of her lungs, probably not caring, or knowing, how loud she was given the volume in her ears. I glanced at Vic, whom glanced at me, and we both laughed quietly. My girl's crazy.

/ Vic's POV \

When I walked into the room I was occupying, I heard the faint default tune of my phone receiving an unknown call. I answered it, not bothering to check the number. "Yeah?" I called in. "Vic? Hey it's Fer. Umm I need to ask you something..." she trailed off, leaving my heart pounding. I didn't even bother to wonder how she'd gotten my number. "W-what is it?" I asked, anxious and expectant. "...Could you borrow me some money?" She spit out quickly. "Money? Oh um uh how much?" Money.. what, do I look like a bank? "Ten thousand dollars." I coughed out of surprise, my breath catching in my throat. "What for?" I asked, suspicious. "My, mom's in the hospital. She has cancer. It's terrible please Vic you need to help me, I don't want her to die too."

"VIC WHERE ARE YOU WE'RE GOING OUT." Scarlett's voice rang through the house. "GOING," I called back. "Fer, I'll call you back in a few I'm sorry I promise I'll call back." Scarlett needed to know about this. "Okay." I quickly pulled on a jacket and a few bracelets, eyeing the healing scars.

"Scarlett? Could you come here for a minute?" I called through the doorway. "Yeah, what is it?" Her alto voice asked, intrigued. "It's umm, here, sit down." Closing the door behind her, she sat on the bottom bunk of the bunk bed. "What's up Vic?" She took a step towards me and stuck a hand out for me to take, so I did, and sat down next to her. "It's Fer. Well, her mom. She's in the hospital. Fer said it's cancer. She needs ten grand, I'm going to send it to her later."

"Ten thousand dollars?" Scar asked amused. "For her mom?" "Yeah. Why?" I watched her ears grow blood red, meaning she was furious. "Vic; get everyone's stuff. We have to go. Now. EVERYONE GET TO THE CAR!" She yelled. "Scar what's going on?" I asked, now scared. She looked at me in the eyes, her own orbs wild with adrenaline.

"Vic listen to me carefully; she wants that money to kill us. She's going to pay someone to kill us. Okay? Her parents died when she was seventeen. We have to go now."
