"What's happening?" looking up the darkened sky, they see the orange eye above the clouds staring down at them.  The sudden change of environment from a clear afternoon sky to a ghostly night made them feel anxious and wary to their surroundings engulfed in a black fog. "My SG can't detect the Sirens, we must've entered the Mirror Sea!" Helena announced to the fleet. They were repelling the Sirens due to their sudden activity announced by the HQ operated by humanity, saying unordinary radiofrequency had been detected by satellites and radars. "Stay cautious, everyone! They could still be near." Hornet being watchful to the rear while others keeping on guard by their front, beneath the water's surface, and above them for possible ambush on all direction.

After a good minute, "I lost signals to my planes." stated by Hornet "Same to me. " Zuikaku spoke up. "We can't rely on our aircrafts for now. Let's keep moving, Atago onee-san will protect everyone." suggested by the Sakura Empire cruiser. "What is that?" Scharnhorst pointed to the front whilst aiming her artillery making everyone turn to the said direction. The Ironblood battleship's rig lowly growls. It was hard to see due to how dark and foggy the environment was, the only definition they could get was it's colossal.

"Haah? A land creature? Here in the vast sea!? Impossible! Must be a weapon of the Sirens?" Hipper wondered as the rest of the fleet kept their eyes on this shadow of a quadruped beast

"Haah? A land creature? Here in the vast sea!? Impossible! Must be a weapon of the Sirens?" Hipper wondered as the rest of the fleet kept their eyes on this shadow of a quadruped beast. "It's not in my radar." announced by Helena "Moouuuuu, I can't headbutt that!" Glowworm complained. "Let's just go home and call it a day." she added half-jokingly. "In Scharnhorst's dictionary, the word 'retreat' simply doesn't exist! Let me see what you've got, foul beast." Firing shells upon the beast from 29 kilometers away, she expects to hear her roaring explosions only for it to be the roar from the beast itself after the explosion. "Scheiße" she curses.

It roared once again and charges towards the fleet "Stay as far away as possible from it!" shells, planes, and torpedoes aim for the charging behemoth as blast explosions and eruptions can be heard. Their firepower wasn't effective against the behemoth's armor but it sure did take damage by the fleet's shells with visible dents. Stomping both of its forelegs it created a gushing wave around the beast. Half of them loose their balance while others made their aim worse due to the unstable footing they have with each wave becoming even more violent.

"SG detected an individual behind us." Helena pointed on their rear "A flanker! Not good! I'll take care of it." Scharnhorst waited for the flanker's figure  to be seen for her to shoot, once it did she fired a salvo at the enemy. When she fires her shells, in a split second she saw it was a Shipgirl making her dreadfully regret upon firing the unsuspecting Shipgirl, "Wa-Wait!" whilst distracted, this beast saw its chance and came rushing in towards the fleet.
