"Kelly?, Well this is a surprise. What are you doing here?", Ethan said in shock. "I live here.

What are you doing here?", I replied. I heard footsteps in the distance and soon an older man appeared at my door.

He looked clean cut and professional in a button up shirt and khakis. We shared the same wavy blond hair, blue eyes, and rounded nose. My dad looked exactly like he did in the magazines and you could tell without a doubt we were related.

"Well I see you two have got acquainted", my dad said. Speaking directly to me, my dad explained that Ethan was an up and rising star that had landed a part on the same new movie as him and that they would be spending a lot of time together.

"Ethan and I have to get back to set," my dad said while looking at his watch. "I really wish I could stay and talk because I know we have a lot to discuss but I have a busy day today." I could tell my dad felt regretful of this from the way he was speaking."I will have my agent get reservations for Nobu for tomorrow around lunch so we can have time to talk. I can't promise we can get reservations because it's always busy but I will try."

As he was talking I noticed he didn't brag about how famous he was or what his fame could get him, I mean what restaurant would turn Clay Moore away. I really admired how humble he seemed. I agreed to the plans and waved goodbye to him as he turned to leave. I decided to call him Clay when I talked to him, calling him dad already might freak him out. After all I had only just met him.

Seeing that I had a full day and no plans I decided to change into a bathing suit and head out to the beach. My stomach growled and I suddenly remembered I hadn't had a bite to eat since breakfast. I decided to find Jessica or the kitchen whichever one I could find first.

Right when I walked down the stairs I noticed Jessica sprawled out on the couch watching TV. "Did you settle in?," she asked when she noticed I was walking towards her.

"Yeah, everything's great. I was just wondering where the kitchen is, I'm starved," I told her. She gave me directions and I set out to find the kitchen.

When I rounded the corner and walked into the kitchen the first thing my eyes landed on was a teenage boy. He was undeniably attractive with shaggy brown hair, dreamy brown eyes, tan skin, and a well-defined jawline. I opened the fridge looking for something easy to fix knowing my cooking skills weren't the greatest. I could feel him staring at me, so I decided to acknowledge him.

Grabbing a yogurt from the fridge and sitting beside him, I introduced myself and found out he had known a little bit about me from my father. His name was Matt and he told me he had been working for my father for about 2 years, doing anything he needed from yard work to cooking in the kitchen.

When he spoke I noticed he had a bit of an accent, but I couldn't tell from what country he might be from. Talking to him was so easy that we talked non-stop for about an hour. I found out a lot about him, including that his family was from Italy, and he was starting his first year of college.

He had to end the conservation and go back to work, so I decided to continue with my plan to go to the beach. Realizing I had made my first potential friend in Malibu put me in a good mood.
