Chapter 3: Date Night

By this time it's Annabeth's Birthday

Percy's POV

I walked over to the docks over the lake at camp, to find Annabeth reading. She always looked so beautiful when she's focused.

"Hey"

"Hey" she said as she looked up from her book.

" Why don't you meet me here tonight, then we can go to dinner tonight." I said with a crack. Hopefully she didn't notice, after all I'm 21, and it still sounds like I'm 12 years old.

"Sure, I'll go get ready now." she got up to leave, I grabbed her waist and pulled her into my lips. Her lips were soft and smooth, as we broke apart, I whispered into her ear,

"I love you."

"I love you too seaweed brain!"

She walked off, and I sat there thinking on how I was going to do this. I then set off to get ready, after all I was going to propose to the love of my life.

Annabeth's POV

I had Piper help me get ready, since I had no idea what to wear for this sort of occasion. I put on a Sea-green dress with a sweetheart neckline, with lace sleeves to my forearms, (Thanks Aphrodite!) to match Percy's eyes. Piper then insisted she do my make up, and hair. By the time she was done, I looked phenomenal, she even pulled a few strings from Hazel, and got me some Diamond earrings. I refused to wear heels, so I wore my plain black flats. (You never know when your going to be attacked by a monster. I found Percy by the docks where I was reading earlier.

"You ready to go?" I said.

"Wow! You look stunning" Percy replied.

"Well aren't you handsome as well, seaweed brain." I grinned

"Oh, come on, Wise girl let's go!" He said with a smirk.
