A Shining Light- The Hobbit (Legolas love story)

1: "Who are you?"

Hi, my name is Caitlin Jones (Gif: Left) and my passion is conserving endangered animals. You could say I prefer the presence of animals than people. That is probably because I'm better with animals, I guess I'm not a people person unless I'm comfortable with them. I'm getting better though. 

I was sat on the pier with my best friend Raya (Gif: Right), our legs hanging off the edge and taking in the heat from the sun. Raya is a performer so I guess you could say she is more of a people person than me. However, neither of us are in the jobs of our dreams and with how the world is turning I think it will be a while until both of us are going to be happy with our careers. 

"Thing's will get better, I'm sure of it" I say trying to boost our spirits. I look over at Raya who is normally the most positive person I know. "Definitely, our time to shine will come because we're amazing" she says trying to be serious but that just causes us both to laugh hysterically. 

"I just need some excitement in my life" I say looking out across the lake in front of us. The water is beautiful, sparkling with the reflections of the sun and the trees. "Be careful what you wish for" Raya laughs waggling her finger at me causing me to roll my eyes. 

The sound of laughing causes us both to turn and look at a little boy skipping along the pier enjoying the afternoon sun. Suddenly he slips and falls in to the lake. He is too small to reach up to the pier and pull himself out and he starts to struggle to keep himself afloat and he starts floating further away from the pier. We look around in panic to find his family but there was no one around. Myself and Raya run over to the deck closest to him calling out to the boy but he continues to struggle. Instincts kicked in and we both jump in to the lake swimming out to the boy. Once we reach him we both take one side and pull him over to the deck and push him up as he rolls onto the pier. The boy thanks us quickly and takes off running away from the lake. 

"I'm never asking for excitement again" I say whilst out of breath making Raya laugh, "please don't. I don't need more stress in my life" she says splashing water at me. We both reach up to get hold of the edge of the pier to pull ourselves up, but something stops us. We both struggle to pull ourselves out. I look at Raya confused and panicked which she reciprocates. Suddenly the water around us starts to bubble and a light shines on us causing us to not be able to see anything other than the glow of the light around us. I suddenly feel a force pull me down in to the darkness of the lake while I struggle to break free from the force. 

Then in a second I am free. I am free to swim up to the surface. I'm not able to hold my breath for much longer, I start to struggle my way up to the surface. I feel arms wrap around me and pull me quicker to the surface until I'm suddenly able to breath fresh air again. My eyes take some time to adjust being out of the dark water but I look to the left and see Raya. We immediately run and hug each other "oh my gosh what happened? Are you okay?" I ask feeling relieved that she was with me. "We are fine. I have no idea what happened" she replies out breath. I was so caught up in being reunited with Raya that I forgot that it wasn't Raya that helped me out of the water.

We both slowly turn back around and we realise we are not at the pier no more. We are at the edge of a river in a magnificent forest with a group of men slightly smaller than ourselves staring at us. A serious looking man with long black hair walks forward in an intimidating manor finally speaks. 

"Who are you?"
