"Yoongi hyung! May I come in?"
The shout resonates in the quiet chambers of the crown prince of Daegu who was just sitting there and staring at the wall in silence. The only thought in his head - Jimin.
Nonetheless, he blinks and gets up. Gesturing a guard to let the younger in, he waits for the young magician who walks into the chamber with a small smile and bows to the prince who nods.
"Hoseok-ah? What- did you want something?", Yoongi asked clearing his throat, his voice sounding hoarse from last night's events. He was definitely surprised by the early visit of the magician to his chamber.
Hoseok just stared at Yoongi for a while, noticing his swollen eyes which were red at the edges. The crown prince looked tired.
"Yoongi", Hoseok released a sigh as he walked closer and sat down in front of the older. Looking directly into his eyes he said, "I saw everything last night."
Yoongi could feel his throat clogg and breathing hitch. "L-last night? What do you mean?", he asked, blinking as if he had no idea whatsoever the latter was talking about.
Hoseok sighed. He knew Yoongi would die rather than share his problems with someone. Though Yoongi trusts him and shares everything with him, he rarely burdens him with his troubles.
He had seen a crying Jimin running out of the prince's chamber and after about a few seconds later he had spotted an equally desperate Yoongi running after him.
If he had seen clearly, he would have noticed that the older had been crying too.
"I saw Jimin crying, hyung. I also saw you running after him. Did you both have a fight?", he asks.
Yoongi hung his head lower in shame. He sighed again. He can't even bring himself to tell his best friend to say what he has done.
So he wordlessly forwards his hand for Hoseok to hold, shocking the younger.
"Hyung, what-"
"Just do it, Hoseok-ah."
Hoseok shakes his head. "Hyung, you know that I will see everything, right?.", he asks cautiously thinking maybe Yoongi might have forgotten he could read minds and memories of the person with whom he had physical contact with.
Yoongi gives him a poker face. "Of course I know. Otherwise why would I ask you to hold my hand?", he says and Hoseok nods before clasping his hand in his.
Hoseok's eyes roll back as he closes his eyes and he watches everything that Yoongi allows him to see.
And then he watches then...watches how Jongin riled him up, how he ignored Jimin, how he even shouted at the young prince.
He forwns watching all this and then he watches how they fought last night. How Yoongi accused Jimin, how Jimin told him the truth and how Jimin ran away from there with a worried and panicked Yoongi behind him.
Yoongi had tried to get inside the prince's chamber but the younger had shouted at him, threw a vase that barely managed to not make it to his face. But when he started crying harder, Yoongi himself left the room thinking it would be better to just leave him alone for a while.
So, he sat outside the door of his chamber's room and cried along with his fiance.
Hoseok saw all that. He did not blame Jimin but he could not even blame Yoongi totally for it.
He was shocked though, for a whole another reason.
They have been together for what six - seven years? And they did not ever confess their love for each other? What kind of joke is this?
