You dropped your umbrella on the floor, from being shocked at his words. You both glared at each other. A moment later you avoided eye contacts with him.

"Shit, you dropped your umbrella [Y/N], you're going to get soaked."

Chifuyu picked up the umbrella covering you. You froze there, being unable to move.

"Huh?.. you must be kidding right?.."

"Nope, why would I be?"

"Sorry, that's just rather sudden."

You began to walk away from him. Until you felt someone grabbing a hold of your hand.

"Wait, don't go."

While you felt his hand grabbing a hold of yours. You felt your heart racing. His confession was rather sudden, you didn't expect him to confess his love to you directly.

The both of you recently met, you didn't even understand how you both got so close to each other. You didn't know what to say to his confession.

Just when you turned around, facing Chifuyu. You realized, there were tears rolling down your face. There was nothing you despised more than being in a relationship, the previous relationships you had didn't turn out well.

You were either cheated on or just dumped by, since you were never "enough" for them. You both made eye contacts with each other.

He had seen the tears rolling down your face. He wasn't sure why you were crying at his confession. Since it was out of the blue.

"Wait, [Y/N]. Is something wrong?"

"I- uhm, nothing. There is just a lot of stuff going on in my mind."

"Can you explain, your tears then?"

Your eyes widen, once he said that. As he continued to block you from the rain with the umbrella.

"Well-"

Your sentence was cut off by Chifuyu. He wiped your tears off with his finger.

"How about we go head somewhere more convenient? Since we are both being soaked in the rain."

You nodded, he held onto your umbrella. Blocking you from the rain. It was awkward since neither of you spoke anything. You reached out a hand, holding onto Chifuyu's sleeve. He noticed you were holding onto his sleeve. As he held your hand back.

"If there is anything you ever want to talk about [Y/N], just tell me."

He smiled at you. You slightly smiled at him back. While walking to a nearby coffee shop. When you both arrived, he bought you a coffee latte as a treat. He tried to cheer you up in many ways.

"What was it that you wanted to talk about?"

You glared at Chifuyu. He didn't reply. As you take a sip of the coffee latte. The sound of the rain kept on pouring endlessly.

"Why did you freak out when I basically confessed to you?"

"That was sudden, how would you expect me to reply to that out of the blue?"

"Sorry, my bad. I didn't expect you to freak out like that."

He patted the back of your head, smiling at you. Your heart began to race. You still didn't know what to say about his confession.

"So.. Chifuyu. Don't you find it at least the slightest that it's weird, that we both go to the same school."

"Isn't it normal though? our school is filled with plenty students."

"Well, I first met you under the rain. I just so happened to pass by the same alleyway. Suddenly I found you sitting there, covered in bruises."

"I did get into a huge fight.."

"Then shouldn't you be more careful and smarter about your ways? can't you just get yourself out of a fight?"

"I could do that, but that isn't how it works.."

"Anyways, I should probably give you some time to think about my confession."

"Mhm, honestly. Nobody confesses in the middle of a rainy weather, while walking home with their classmate!"

"[Y/N], do you currently have any plans or anything?"

"No? why?"

"Do you want to go to an arcade to cheer you up a bit?"

"Huh? why would we need to go to an arcade? well I don't mind anyway."

"Great, then let's go!"

He gripped your wrist, dragging you away to an arcade. Since you both were still in the city. It wasn't long before you arrived at the arcade.

a/n: okayokayokay sososososo hear me out, i dumped some random scenes in this chapter because i was running out of ideas, so i asked my friend for some ideas for the story. and she said make both of the characters go to a arcade or something so that's where i got the idea. anyways hear me out i'm being fr, i promise to fill the next chapter with pure fluff.
