Behind the curtains

Then the lights came back with a blink, lighting each and every corner of that place and then again they went back focusing on the stage.

All the girls went silent for a moment even they were confused of what was happening.

With a curious expression I looked at my friend who was standing beside me and she was confused too.

Even after that no one came out, there was no sound just the whispers and soft talking behind the curtains at both the sides of the stage.

Even the girls who were screaming and shouting a few minutes ago were silent. Even the soft music which was playing before was stopped. It felt like a classroom with pin drop silence.

As the whispers stopped behind the curtains, the curtains started rising up and at the bottom I could see black shoes of few people.

Everyone was still looking at the stage eagerly waiting but only me and my best friend were looking at the curtains before us which were rising up.

As the curtains fully went up and three tall and handsome men came before us with a big cute smiles on their faces, both of us were speechless just like everyone else and from the other side of the stage when the curtains went up four more, tall and handsome just like the once before us came smiling and waving their hands.

We just looked at the people with our jaws dropped at the ground ( not really on the ground but you get it) we were still starring at them as they were walking forward.

It was unbelievable! It looked like angels are walking towards us with a bright light flashing from behind making them look magical and perfect...

Ok now I think it is more than clear who these people are and why we are here.
But still if you don't get it see you in the next part....😁

The place were all this was happening was in our small city and our school functions were held at that place.
