WIRTS P.O.V.
"Ummm," I say. Nails pressed to my face. "What's going on?" We all slowly back away from the menacing pumpkin. We start to run but I trip on my shoelace, and slow us down. "Why have you ruined our peace, young ones?" He asks. "and did you say you want to leave Potsfield?" He asks, sounding surprised. I reply almost too quick, "We just want to get home, and..." I stumble over my words. "And we happened to pass through your town and-" "and we stepped on pumpkins!" Greg cuts me off, holding up the bright orange pumpkin stuck to his foot. "So you come to our village, trample our crops, and expect to just walk on out to your home?" His once orange pumpkin face is now red with rage. "Such crimes cannot go unpunished..." He drifts off as he says it. I stand back, along with Beatrice on my shoulder. Hands in fists so tight my once pink knuckles are now white from the tension...
