Chapter 6: No word is enough

It's been aweek since Aria got angry at me. Up until now, I'm still confused on she got angry at me like that but I feel like it's connected on Phoebe.

Thinking about it now, I feel like it's because of "that" scene that she got angry.

Is she... jealous?

No, no. What the heck am I thinking. She's my... cousin. How could I think of that, this is ridiculous.

But... she mentioned about Phoebe being around me all the time.

Ahh! My head is hurting from thinking.

I stand up from my study table and was planning to go downstairs. It's weekend but I still study or else I'll feel like I'm slacking of and not being a good son for my parents.

I was already grateful to Mom and Dad. As long as I can, I really don't think of myself as an adopted child coz it just make me feel small also my parents are getting angry when they hear mw say it.

I want to give my best shot in everything coz I don't want to disappoint them in any way. In that way, I'm giving back their hardship on parenting me even a simple way.

I always consider them in everything that I'm doing coz they are the reason why I'm here.

I was interrupted when I heard someone knocked on my door.

"Come in."

It's Mom.

"Hey Mom, do you need something?"

She immediately waved her hand. "No, no. I just want to informed you that your Dad and I will be going to a charity event tonight. Your grandpa left earlier too, for some important things. I want you to come with us too but I'm worried about your cousin being left alone here."

"It's fine, Mom. I also have some things to do, you also don't have to worry about Aria."

"Thankyou son, then we're going already. Eat dinner with Aria, she still haven't eaten."

After her reminders, Mom and Dad both left.

I finished everything I need to do and when I look at the clock, it was already time for dinner.

I was actually hesitant about calling Aria, I know she's still mad at me. She's not even look at me ever since that day and it's already been aweek.

Not even a glance from her.

I felt a pinched in my heart. We only got close abit since my birthday and now we're back into what we are before.

I toughen myself and walk infront of here room which is only beside my room.

I fixed my eyeglasses and sighed before knocking on her door.

But then, no one answered.

I tried to knocked again but there's still no answer.

"Aria? Are you there? It's time for dinner already."

No answer.

I put my hands on her door knob and found out that it's not locked.

I open the door but saw no one. I slowly walk inside then close the door.

I roamed my eyes on her room. Her room is plain, it's a black and white theme. I tried caller her again but there's no answer.

I wanna check the whole room to find her but I think it's rude since she didn't permit me to enter her rom but yet I'm here. I can't go in further.

I was planning to go out of her room when something catch my attention. It is the only picture frame on her room but the one on it looks so familiar.
