Basically, everything you need to know about this world. I may add on to this but here's everything I got for now. (This may be hard to read, and I appoligze. This was better done on my Ao3.)

NEW!-Something I recently added

Pokejinkas are basically magical humans. Their is exemptions: Like ghosts, robots, aliens, gods, etc. Pokejinkas having babies isn't the same as pokemon breeding. I.E., no egg groups and the baby being the same evolution line as the mother. That means there's nothing stopping people from having babies with anyone else, provided it's consensual and they have the right...equipment. The species of the baby is random, meaning it could be from ether's parent's evolution line. The baby may inherit things from the other parent, like moves and/or small things from their evolution line (Ex: A mareep with a dragonite parent's orbs will be blue, rather than red) Some species, however, have gender gaps. Basiclly, they may have more females than males or vise versa. Some will only have females or males, at least in terms of sex. They may choose to identify as the opposite gender. Or some species won't have genders at all. In terms of biological sex, depending on the species they may have both working sex organs or none at all.

The species of the Pokejinka DOES have an affect in their appearance. If they evolve, their looks will change (EX: hair color, eye color, markings, etc.) Ethnicities, however, won't change (if they're white, they stay white). Pokejinkas usually will wear clothing that are specifically for their species. It's seen as a faux pass to wear something that not's for your species.

A person's gender identity/pronouns aren't a point of contention in this world. Aka, people (expect for a select few) respect what people choose to identify. Some species of pokejinkas aren't born with a gender after all. Most, if not all gods, are from this group with no gender, but may still look more feminine/masculine. But they will probably still will identify as nonbinary/agender. Same for for pronouns. Neopronouns are also used, but not that common.

Shiny Pokejinkas do exist, and are very rare. Thier looks will be different than the norm, similar to a shiny pokemon. Unfrontually, Shiny Pokejinkas often have have health problems. Usually vision or hearing impairments

Humans still exist in this world, but they're a minority. Due to legends/history, humans suffer a lot of bigotry. Basiclly, years ago a human controlled pokejinkas (giving rise to the first incident of shadow pokemon) and tried to take over the world. They were defeated by the gods. A subspecies of humans exist, called 'Heirs of Legend'. They specialize in one Pokemon type, and can use any move of that type They may also have some slight psychical difference (Dragons have fangs/claw nails, Water has gills, etc.). Their type also effects their personality (Fire types are passionate, Ice types are cold, etc.). It does have downsides however (Psychic types get migrines, Dark types are sensitive to light, etc.). They can also see Shadow Pokemon for...obvious reasons.

Interspecies relationships do exist (Pokejinka dating humans). If they were to have children, their child has an equal chance of being a pokejinka or being a human (50%/50%). It's more common than you would expect considering how humans are treated. Because the Pokejinka children born from a human will take on more attributes from their Pokejinka parent (IVs, nature, etc.) So some will seek out humans in order to garauntee strong children. Sadly, humans in these kinds of relationships are means to an end, and are treated pretty badly.

Heirs of Legend inhert their powers their parents, and the chances are different depending on what they are. The odds will be weighted depending on what species the parents are, who's carrying the child and what type the pokejinka is. For 2 Heirs Of Legend: 11% for the type of the 'mother' (whoever supplied the egg), 9% for the type of the 'father' (whoever supplied the sperm) and 5% for everything else. For a Heir of Legend and a normal human: 15% for the type of the heir of legend (regardless of sex) and 5% everything else. Note: There's a 50% chance for the child to be a Heir of Legend and 50% to be a normal human. If the child doesn't show any abilities by 10 years of age, then then they're a normal human. For a Heir of Legend and a Pokejinka of 1 type:  11% for the type of the Heir of Legend (regardless of sex), 9% for the type of the Pokejinka (regardless of sex) and 5% for everything else. The child will have a 50% chance of being a heir of legend and 50% of being a Pokejinka. Stragely Pokejinka's hidden power type will always be the same type as the heir of legend parent. For a Heir of Legend and a Pokejinka of 2 types: 11% for the type of the Heir of Legend (regardless of sex), 7% EACH for the types of the Pokejinka (regardless of sex), 5% for everything else.

Regions in term of location and proximity to each other, is dependent on their real world counterpart. That means Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh (Japan) are close to each other, and on the same continent. Unova (New York) and Orre (Arizona) are on the same continent, but are a ways away. Alola (Hawaii) is also nearby but a bunch of islands off the coast of it. Kalos(France) is all by itself, at this point in time, but Galar (United Kingdom) is and island close by it.

Battle teams are strictly regulated. You need to register your team, which you can do at any Pokécenter. You can start with just one member, yourself, if you want. However, if you get a new teammate they need to be added to the roster. There is no age limit, although most are over 10. A team can have a max of 6 battle-ready members. More members can be part of a team, they just can't fight. They also need to be registered as a team member, but not as a battler.

Accommodations do exist for those who have disabilities. Battle suitable prosthetics/wheelchairs/etc. exist so even those who have disabilities can be part of a team. Ableism isn't really a big thing, and those with disablites, wether mental or psyichal, are wildly accepted. Their really isn't justification for that when half of the pokemon that could kill you don't even have arms.

While it may vary from region to region, LGTBQ+ are wildly accepted by the majority. Their's no excuse too, especially when some pokejinkas have no gender at all. Even more so for transphobia, when evolution is a thing that happens. People can change appearances in a second. Their is perdujice related to species and types however

Technolgy is a main focal point, with it meshing with nature as much as possible. Fossil fuels like coal are used, but most of the power comes from renewable sources like solar, hydro, and wind.

Weapons do exist, but not everyone uses them and are even more strictly regulated than teams. You can use them, but you can't cause lethal harm. Guns are allowed, but aren't wildly used. They're mostly used for blanks or channeling powers through it. But the former can get expensive/wasteful and for the latter it's usually better to do it through something like water guns or finger guns. Some are formed by their own powers, and is often the perforered choice of weapons (water surikins, leaf blades, ghostly arrows, etc.) Bats and clubs are often used for close range attackers. Wands and staves are used for those who wanna attack from a distance, channeling their energy for it. Whips are used by mixed attackers, to bring their oppionets closer, or channel attacks through it. Throwing weapons (knives, shurikens, etc. ) are also preferred by long range attackers, but can get lost. Self defense weapons (pocket knives, tazers, etc.) are commonly weilded by humans. Some techsavy battlers create devices for them and their teammates. Electric types often do, making them conducts for their own charge

Pokécenters are basically hotels, offering food and lodging for traveling teams. They also offer medical services, both psychical and mental. Pharmacies as well, for those who need medication. Medical records are digital, for easily retrieval, making it easy to get medical help as they travel from city to city. People can also send mail to them, to be picked up by whoever it's for once they get there. Some still choose to camp. This is common for those in caves, long routes or those who just like the outdoors.

Pokemon still exist in this world, and are basically the replacement for animals (Which don't exist in this world). Yes, that means they eat Pokemon. In the story they do catch wild ones to eat. However, real-life plants/fruit/vegetables DO exist in this world. They're also domesticated, wether for pets or manual labor. Pokemon trainers also still exist, but they're not as popular

Evoultion methods are pretty much the same as normally. Stones only work if you allow them too, meaning the stone is safe to touch. A evolution stone can be used only once, after it's spent and can not be used. Some keep the stone as a memento, fashioning it into jewelry. Friendship evoultions happen when the person evolving feels a strong sense of camradire, which triggers evolution

Relgion is a thing, and abeit different than expected. All legendary/mythical Pokemon are gods, and Arceus is the man upstairs so to speak. All others fall under it's rule, and control different things in the world. The main religion worships Arceus mainly, but also the other gods. Thier also exists branches of this religion, where they focus and worship one specific god. Legends about how the gods were born or things they have done exist. Ruins that tell the story, or just ruins in general, exist and are protected

And now we can finally get into character bios! I probs won't go in character order, but idk yet.
