Rok Soo was doing so well on his attempts.

This fake being in Coma might even be his best effort so far.

However, there's a slight miscalculation on his part, and at the moment, while Cale is resting, God of Death is starting to speak in Rok Soo's mind.

{Child. The time is nearing}

That God said without the further context needed for Rok Soo knows what he meant.

The time is nearing.

Cale's time is nearing.

God of Death couldn't see the future. However, he can see someone's death.

And, just like he mentioned, Cale's time is approaching.

'I know. And don't fucking call me your child. I'm not'

Rok Soo retorted despite currently abusing his brain to think of a way to get Cale away from this place before anything bad could happen to him.

[...on The Coronation day of the new King of Roan Kingdom, Alberu Crossman, his sworn brother, Cale Henituse, also widely known as the Hero that shall never be seen again, could be found dead on an empty alley in a blood bath and scratches all over his body...]

That's what The God of Death firstly reported before Rok Soo even agreed on helping Earth 27's Cale.

The time of death was one month away and the cause of death is something Rok Soo is extremely familiar about...

'Instant'

This Cale Henituse died of blood loss and breaking plate after using 'Instant' for the third time in his life as 'Cale' and not 'Kim Rok Soo', even though Mila, that beige dragon, already strictly forbidden him from using the said ability ever again.

Quite frankly, Rok Soo had thought that his presence here should be enough to stop that hideous fate of Cale's, considering the fact that he could not use Instant anymore.

However, that doesn't seem to be the case since God of Death still discreetly reminded Rok Soo that the time is nearing, as he did just now.

That Transmigator realized that it is possible for this body to use Instant since technically speaking, that ability sticks to Cale's soul and the said soul is still the official owner of this body.

So, just like how Cale's Trauma was affecting the body so much that Rok Soo couldn't even stomach his meals for the first two weeks, if Cale wishes to it, he can still use Instant even though Rok Soo is the one moving the body.

The explanation itself is brain-damaging, but that's the situation they're in...

Unfortunately, the God of Death could not see the reason why Cale must use Instant despite the warning. Which is why, Rok Soo is stressing himself out on how to change those bastards' minds before the day after tomorrow.

You can't.

There's a small voice in his head speaking to him.

You can't free him on time.

And yet, as much Rok Soo hates to admit it, that statement's correct.

He could not change how things goes in such a limited time.

'I wouldn't be able to make it.'

Cale could not be saved that way.

Which means...

'I must create a new path instead.'

He's not going to give up on his counterpart so foolishly, no.

Cale has trusted him on the task, and likewise, Rok Soo would give his all to respond to his sincerity.
