Chapter 8 - Jail Break

"We made it." Phillip said sounding relieved.

"Ya we did but we still gotta jail break to do so don't get to comfortable." Ryan explained to Phillip as Phillip frowned.

They walked up to the door that was at the end of the stairs and saw that it had "Jail House" written on the door in a red ink. Ryan pulled the door open and they were blinded by a giant bright light as their eyes got used to it they noticed that the whole room was pure white. "We're gonna have a hard time sneaking through here" Ryan disappointedly remarked.

"Well if the silent way doesn't work we always have the brute strength way." Phillip told Ryan trying to cheer him up.

"Ya your right so let's go and close the door behind you we don't want to leave any clues that we were here" Ryan commanded Phillip to do.

Phillip listened and closed the door and as the door slammed shut the room went pitch black and they heard noises all around. Ryan, and Phillip stopped in their tracks and turned on their night vision and once Ryan did that he saw a bunch of lizard space pirates around them. "Their surrounding us shoot as many as you can before they take us out." After Ryan yelled that, then he shot his E-11 taking a space pirates life and then jumping to cover as he was going pulled Phillip with him.

As they landed behind cover the lights came on again. Ryan and Phillip turned off their night vision and jumped up to shoot but weren't expecting to see the captain "what's the hurry boys why not sit down and stay awhile." He commented as he pushed Cambria out to show them she was fine.

"Why should we listen to you, you reptilian scum." Ryan replied

"Because if you don't your friends brains will be all over your clothes...and that won't be so pleasant now will it." The captain said as he pulled out a .45 blaster and pointed it at the back of Cambria's head.

"Ok...ok you win just don't hurt her." Ryan said as he put his gun down and motioned to Philip to do the same.

"Now.... Where's the tea." Ryan said trying to be funny in a drastic time.

"Well it's in the other room brewing."

"Oh ok. " Ryan said embarrassed

"We should talk about why your here and decide your fate.....so first question, why are you here?"

"Well I thought it was obvious of course....we were here for the tea and Cambria all along." Ryan told the captain

"Well let's make a deal so you can have the girl back?"

"Where you going with this? I'm not a smuggler."

"Well if either of you would switch her spot that would be great actually." The captain replied to Ryan's question. Ryan looked at Philip confused.

"Ok I'll do it." Ryan said walking up. While Cambria kept saying not to that she would be fine she can take care of herself but Ryan wasn't gonna let her rot in this jail.

"Great that works out perfectly!?" The captain replied. The captain motioned to his men to free the girl and give her to Philip. They did as they were told.

"Go Philip get out of here I can finish this deal." Ryan explained while Looking over at Philip. Philip knew exactly what he was on to.

"Ya I'll just go now with Cambria." Philip said rushing Cambria out.

"What are you doing Philip your just gonna leave your brother in their to die!?" Cambria explained to Phillip because she was confused at what was happening.

"It's fine we'll see him back at the ship in a couple of seconds." Philip explained

"What how!?"

"Whatcha want me to do captain, you want me to spin around and dance like a ballerina?" Ryan asked as if to get a laugh out of him.

"No boy were gonna use you to get into a chest that needs a lucky charm that private gave you."

"Oh well...." As Ryan was in mid sentence he kicked the captain back while jumping behind cover and grabbing his E-11 to fight back.

"LOCK THE BUILDING DOWN...he's not getting out of here alive." The captain ordered his men to do but before they could Ryan was already out of the jail running up the stairs toward the ship.

"GET HIM!?!?!?" The captain yelled in a ferocious roar.

"What was that?" Cambria asked Philip

"Well that's either the captain roaring out of anger because of Ryan, or it was my stomach cause I'm really hungry." Philip replied

"This is not the time for jokes Philip" Cambria ordered with a straight face.

"Ok geez was just trying to brighten the mood."

"There he is open the bay doors." Cambria ordered.

"Oh my goodness how many of these lizards are their." Ryan said to himself while blaster fire was flying all around him and flying by his helmet.

"There's the bay doors opening up good thing they saw me" Ryan thought to himself while running for his life. While he was running he ran up the steps to see Cambria's arms open up to grab him and he jumps and makes it in the ship.

"GO GO GO" Ryan yelled to Philip so they can start flying off. They were taking heavy fire from all sides.

"Shields are at critical I don't think we will make it out." Philip said unsure of what was gonna happen.

"Just fly." Ryan said. And at the last second their was a huge explosion and the ship started falling down the pit.

"ABANDON SHIP." yelled Philip as he grabbed a parachute and threw Ryan and Cambria one two. They all jumped out to land on a platform with a open hallway behind them no walls around and a huge hole in the middle of the platform. All the lizards dropped down on the platform and readied themselves to attack. The captain came down and sat at the thrown at the other end of the platform.

"Hey....hold up can't we just talk this out." Ryan asked

"Yes we can talk it out.....when we're feasting on your dead bodies...KILL THEM."
