"Guys I want you to meet Grayson.", I establish.

Everyone introduces themselves and greet Grayson warmly, except for Scarlett. Her being the serious person she is greeted him pretty coldly. She treats everyone like this, but Grayson didn't know this. Ugh. Scarlett... why are you so cold? You're scaring Grayson... poor Grayson. Seemed Charlie seemed to notice all of this too.

"Don't mind her Grayson. Scarlett is like that to everyone.", Charlie replies.

Grayson begins to relax and soon he joins in the conversation. I notice Charlie keeps staring at him and seems more giggley then usual... Oh no. Charlie is crushing on Grayson, can't blame her though. Maybe Grayson wouldn't feel the same...nope. Seems Grayson likes her back. It shows as clear as day on his blushing face.

You stupid. Why did you even think Grayson would like you? Like he would be gay. Though what made it sting even worse is him flirting with my best friend Charlie, right in front. I wanted to go hide in a corner. To get away from Grayson and Charlie. Scarlett must of noticed my distress.

"Hey Grayson. I need to talk to you alone.", Scarlett commands.

We then get up and head to the empty hall. She pulls me into a one of the textbook storage rooms in the back of the library. The shelves along the walls are covered in dust and cobwebs. Only a few beaten up books are scattered on the shelves. The light shines dimly, the floor is scuffed, and paint is peeling of the wall.

      "What's wrong?", she barks.

My breath is barely whisper as I mutter,"Nothing's wrong."

She snaps,"Don't give me that. We've been best friends since Pre-School. I can tell when you're lying and I don't need to her your lies. Now tell me what's wrong."

"I can't tell you right now."

      "Don't give me this BS."

"Scarlett, I don't want to talk about it."

"You don't need to bottle up your emotions just because you're a guy. Let go of the stupid image and tell me what's going on."

"I said I don't want to talk about it!"

She pauses. Takes a deep breath and punches my stomach, hard. Then without a word leaves the room. I'm buckled over, clenching my stomach, and breathless. I really shouldn't have made her mad, but I couldn't tell her I was gay. Not yet. I stumble out the room and rush to my next class. I want to go home and have a good cry. When was this horrible day gonna end? I want Willow. I want to tell her.

      *Ping*

I pick up my phone to check the text.

Charlie: Guess what?! Grayson asked me out! We're gonna be at the movies Friday! Thanks for introducing usto each other!

Scratch that. I need to cry on Willow and Scarlett's shoulders.
