just a warning before you read this, it's probably going to be long. this is a long story, the longest story i've ever told.
i usually don't write long stories — i mainly write little drabbles, streams of consciousnesses and maybe some poems if the occasion calls for it.
but this story, though outside of my threshold, i think is one i need to tell.
it's a story that means so much to me.
and i really want you to hear it. but, first, you'll probably need to know who i am.
my name's bennett. apparently, my name means "blessed" or "blessed one," but, it seemed nature's course didn't get the memo. i've been cursed with terrible luck for as long as i can remember— i'm a practical burning wheel of misfortune. that was probably written in the stars. i mean, i bet the supernatural forces of this world think it's hilarious how my name is the opposite of how my life goes.
but, there was this one time, i found my four-leafed clover.
a few years ago, i believe it was eight-ish years or so, my middle-school german teacher (aka my uncle) administered an assignment that would change my life for the better.
in short, this is the story of how i met and got to know the most interesting guy i'll ever encounter.
oh— and how i fell head over heels totally in love with him in the process.
