In the morning of the next day to go to school, Danny and I (outfit 68) woke up colder than usual. Danny, you didn't sneak Jack in our room to try and surprise/scare me again did you? I asked groggily. No, he yawned, I was gonna ask you the same thing. Why would I want to do that? I asked. Cause you like him? I rolled my eyes. You didn't deny it that time. I shrugged.... IDK anymore its hard to say, I know I've loved him like a brother so far, but that's cause that's what we decided was how our relationship worked.
It's no colder in here than usual, but at the same time that's how we feel. Do you feel anything wet? No. Is the window open? No. That's beyond weird. We swung by Tucker's to pick him up on the way and Elsa and Onyx. We'd gone in Onyx's car and went out on our way to Sam's. Where she was feeding DeMilo and watering the rest of her plants. I loved the cold, but this was ridiculous. Good morning. A happy content voice says wrapping his arms around me from behind.
My body shivers more. Whoa, you feel as cold as I do. Are you ok? He says stepping away. I pull him closer again. No, we're the same temp now. You know the cold doesn't bother me, stay. Yes ma'am. Danny's our temp too now, there's something wrong with us. Well, I'm not really supposed to be in here, Sam's afraid I'll hurt the plants. But hey this plant hates veggies as much as I do, Tucker points out pointing at the Venus. Yep, but let's go before we're late for class.
However as we exit, Danny's cold freezes DeMilo. And because of it a new enemy comes, a new plant based ghost by the name of Undergrowth. As we walk away to get into Onyx's car on our way to go to school, we discuss the new nature things that my dad is attempting to change for our town, and that nature shouldn't be messed with so much. While I agree with Sam. We meet him on face to face, while he destroys equipment that hurts plants. Danny and I go ghost, he shoots off his arm. He jokes about himself not having a green thumb, but while joking that he claims that I do. That he can't destroy something that can regenerate, and then he tries to make him turn to ash, but Undergrowth sends out miny little plant people to go attack Danny. As the rest of our friends flee. But we're having trouble using our powers, because our bodies are so cold.
Plants begin taking over the world, just I'd kind of predicted earlier, but I never thought it would happen outside of a movie. I don't eat my veggies, how is it fair they get to eat me?! Tucker complains. Nothing is working, these plants are like steel cables with sap. The plants capture Danny as he struggles to escape, and the plants keep him from using his ghost powers. Wait a min why isn't the ghost trying to capture you? Because he probably knows that Sam and I actually like plants, and if you haven't noticed all the ghosts except my father don't hurt me and I befriend them.
What about Spectra, and Vortex? Vortex didn't hurt me, my emotions did that, Vortex just gave me that power, and Spectra didn't hurt me either, I was only an experiment, you and my father are the only ones that I can say have actually hurt me, not even your future evil self hurt me, he got a chance to try and rewrite his wrongs, and no longer became evil. Skulker has never hurt me, he just tries to. And the list goes on.
He is able to transform his powers to make plant people, as in controlling people to plant his plant children for him and take over the world, our parents come but he controls them too, Sam and I have been turned into his puppets too, that's why he hasn't hurt me, Sam and I are his care takers. His plant queens. But that if Danny can't stop him, someone else will. But soon, almost everyone is being controlled by his plant powers. Our outfits transform to plant dresses and we look like we truly belong in this new overgrowth Undergrowth world that he's creating, at least he's not Audrey two.
We now take control of Tucker and try to take control of Danny but because of his cold problem and that's also why we can't control Jack either. We 3 gasp at the cold, our eyes are green orbed. We're being controlled by the plants, but we don't seem to mind or care. Join us Danny, growth is family. No thanks, I'm already trying to work out the bugs of the family I have and one of them is also trying to take over the world while being controlled and now I know how she felt when Freakshow came to town, and made Jack and I evil.
