I'm gonna make this one pretty short, because that's just how today felt. It was the same old thing, nothing new really ever happens. I mean, we wake up, and get dressed (outfit 57) and have breakfast, grab our stuff, transform after we're out of sight of humans, go pick up our friends, and jump into Onyx's car, and go to school, and on Friday's I have cheer. Which, even though we know and remember that it started off as a bet, and there are parts I still despise of it, I've learned to love it, and I'm surprised to hear myself say that I'm glad I did lose that bet to Britney, so that I could have to be put on the team.
I mean, not that I care, but the girls are nice to me, and its better than getting picked on. But I'm still a loser freak like the rest of us. I mean even the thought of playfully teasing each other about liking the other two is starting to get old now, we fight ghosts all the time, but that's still nothing new. No new enemy's, no problems with my dad at the moment. Everything is just always the same now.
Not, that that's always a bad thing, I mean we've stayed out of danger, and I don't get hurt as much. And I mean, sure we still do this and that, but its all just part of the same old thing. While at school we all stick together, most of the time we're picked on, or pulled, or beat to a pulp, and that's not even just school, but its just not exciting anymore, at least right now while we're stuck in a rut of the same old thing.
Something had to change. Well, be carful what you wish for, or you'll get your wish. I'm sure we've seen that by now. When school ends we fly home, and we get home and Danny collapses onto our bed once again in his human form. I decide on the window seat itself, practicing my new powers to use those ice powers for fun, to make ice and frost appear on my window. Jack and Elsa take the floor next to me, Onyx goes to the bed, and Sam and Tucker collapse into the bean bags.
Hey? I hear Jack call out playfully annoyed. I give him a small smile, and return to what I'm doing. Keeping my focus on my powers and my ice, frost abilities. He hops up sitting back down opposite me, while we use our abilities to write and draw pictures of things onto the window, but in the meantime it also made our room freezing. Knock it off. Danny complains, after complaining also about our rut in our life, now his face muffled from the bed.
I *sigh* and lean up against the wall, hugging my legs, pulling them up to my chest. But Jack pulls me closer to him and soon, he's got me laying my head on his chest, with his arms wrapped around me. You know, I bet we're kind of glad we're all in a rut right now otherwise, this would look couple-y.
