Orphan Alice

Chp.2

Alice woke up in shock. The sound of sirens filled her head and the smell of smoke filled her lungs. 

"Get out, get out NOW!" A strange man shouted while leading all the orphans out of the building. 

There had been a fire from Miss bones' cigarette. Everyone was escorted out the building and Alice looked around.

"Annie, where's Annie!" She screamed in horror. 

A bunch of thoughts rushed to Alice's head. No one was going inside. Alice risked it.

"Annie, ANNIE! Alice bellowed. 

She heard a scream and rushed over there. Annie was trapped under a bed that had collapsed. Alice struggled to save her. Alice turned around and there Layla was. Layla was very strong so it was quite easy for her.

"Annie, I'm so glad your okay, Thankyou so much Layla, I really owe you." Alice said. 

Alice rapped her arms around Layla and gave her a big hug. Layla was not a big fa of hugs, so she stood there awkwardly. 

"Quick, we better get out." Layla said.

They ran down the 3 story stairs with a few obstacles trying to stop them, but they managed okay. As they got to the door, the ceiling had collapsed.
