It's about 2 in the afternoon. I'm in my bedroom reading my Percy Jackson Heros of Olympus book when suddenly there's a knock on the front door. I obviously wait and see if my mum went and got it but nope. She's still in her bloody bedroom watching Spartacus on the telly. So I'm basically forced to get up and answer it. I'm obviously pissed off. Hint. Never interrupt me while I'm reading. It never ends well. So, I get up, go to the door and look through the peep hole to see who it is. What I see is very, VERY odd. A man, standing there on my doorstep. He has brown floppy hair, a tweed jacket and and bowtie on. I think to myself "It's the middle of summer and someones wearing a tweed jacket. Wow. Something must be very wrong with them". I can see him back up a little and wave at the peep hole. I sigh and crack the door open and stick my head out. "Hallo. Who are you?" I ask him, looking him up and down, looking at his ridiculous outfit. "I'll tell you later. But you have got to trust me right now and run." he said as he grabbed my hand and started pulling me out the door. "Who are you and where are you taking me?!" I semi yell at him, not knowing who he was or what he was doing. "Tell you later! Promise!" He says as we start to pick up our pace. "It's the middle of summer, a strange man comes to my house and takes me and I would like to know why!!" I yell at him. He looks back at me and I say "Haven't you ever been told not to talk to strangers?" he smirks at me as he pulls me into a small alleyway and we hide behind a wall. "Yes. Once. But I didn't listen. I don't like rules." he peaks his head out around the corner. "I can see that. Anyways, who are you?" I ask him as I catch my breath. "Tell you later. But right now I'm kinda busy." he said to me as he reaches into his pocket and pulls out something. "No, you'll tell me now, busy or not." I reply and place a hand on my hip. "No, I'll tell you later if you want to live the rest of your impossible life." he turns to me and 'scans' me. "Don't worry, just a screwdriver." he says with a small smile on his face. "How do you know that my life's impossible?" I ask him as I try to take the said screwdriver from him. "Don't ask stupid questions." he keeps it away from me and puts it back in his coat pocket. "But it's not a stupid question! How do you know that my life is impossible!?"I exclaim, both hands on my hips now. "Because I just do, Brielle! I just do...." he said as he peaked his head around the corner once more. "How do you know my name? You just met me, how the hell do you know my name? Are you some sorta stalker?" I ask him, backing away a few steps. "No, I'm not a stalker. I'm The Doctor, now if you don't shut up you're gonna get us killed!" he said as he took my hand again and pulled me back the alleyway. We turn a few corners and stop in front of a big, blue police box.
