Annoying Friend (Kise x OC)

The Bet (Part 1)

"Anyway, are you asking me to help you stay away from her"
"Yes"
"And why would I help"
"Because if I lose I have to stay away from her and find someone else to spend my time with"
"Ok fine, I'll help" I know that senpai was annoyed by me. It was the perfect way to get him to agree.
"Thank you senpai"

Zuri POV

"The bet starts tomorrow" me and Kise met to talk about the bet.
"Ok"
"You remember the rules right" I asked and he smiled before nodding.
"Yes"
"Good, then I'll see you in a week"
"...ok"

Day 1 (Sunday)

I haven't seen Kise all day, he would normally come see me on the weekends. It was weird not having him by my side. I was sitting in the livingroom watching a movie when my mom sat next to me.
"Hey honey"
"What is it mom"
"Are you and Kise fighting" I looked at her cunfused.
"No why"
"No reason....."
"Mom....what is it"
"It's just...he hasn't come to see you"
"He is doing other things today"
"....don't you miss him"
"Why would I, we're just friends"
"......I see"

Day 2 (Monday)

Kise passed by me in the hallway and didn't even look at me. It hurt my feels a little bit because he hasn't ignored me before. I just ignored it and went to my locker, when I heard other students talk about me.
"Did you see that"
"What"
"Kise ignored her"
"Is he mad at her or something"
"I don't know"
I closed my locker loud enough for them to hear it. They looked over at me and I smiled. "You shouldn't talk about other people" I laughed before walking away.

Day 3 (Tuesday)

I haven't seen Kise today, I don't know were he was. I only really saw him in class but we sit on opposite sides of the room.
"What with that face" my friend asked sitting next to me on the grass.
"What are you talking about"
"You look upset" I laughed at her statement.
"I'm not upset"
"Are you sure....I mean Kise has..."
"Don't finish that sentence" she put her hands up in defense.
"Ok sorry"
"I didn't mean to..." she quickly interrupted me.
"I understand, you are just stressed"
"Just a little bit" I laughed and she started laughing too.

Day 4 (Wednesday)

I was worried that he was going to win the bet. I don't hate Kise but I didn't want to be his girlfriend. I only see him as a friend and I didn't want to ruin our friendship.
"Honey are you ok"
"Yes mom, I'm fine"
"Are you sure"
"Yes mom, don't worry"
"Ok but if you want to talk, just tell me" I smiled.
"I will mom"

Day 5 (Thursday)

"Being Kise's girlfriend wouldn't be the worst thing" my friend was trying to cheer me up. I was not working at all, I really didn't want to lose this bet.
"That's easy for you to say"
"If you are worried that much why did you make the bet"
"I didn't think that he would be able to do it"
"Why is that"
"He has never been able to stay away from me"
"Yea true...didn't he even leave practice early because you were sick"
"Yea, he hadn't seen me all day so he went to see me"
"The captain was so mad at him" we started laughing at the memory.
"Yea, he throw his shoe at him from across the hallway the next day"

Day 6 (Friday)

I had given up, I accepted that I was going to be Kise's girlfriend. My friend was right it's not the worst thing. He was a nice guy and he cared a lot about me. It really wouldn't be that different. He already treated me like his girlfriend.

Day 7 (Saturday)

It was the last day, if he stayed away then he won. The whole day felt like it was going to slow. I just wanted the day to end already. I checked the clock for the million time today. It was only noon and I sighed, sitting at my desk.

Day 8 (Sunday)

I tried calling Kise but he wasn't answering his phone. My friend said that she saw him at the local basketball court. So I quickly got dressed and made my way there.
"Kise" I called out to him when I spotted him. He turned around and he had a weird expression on his face.  I saw his senpai push him and he made his way over to me. I opened my mouth to say something but he interrupted me.
"Zuri, Great I wanted to talk to you"
"What is it"
"Forget the bet" it felt like the world stopped for some reason.
"W-what"
"I don't want you to date me if you don't really want to"
"...alright" I opened my mouth to say something else when Kasamatsu called out to Kise.
"Kise"
"Sorry senpai is calling for me...I'll see you later" he ran off before I could say anything.

Day 9 (Monday)

I haven't seen Kise, he has started hanging out with some girl. My friend said that she was one of his fans. I didn't think much about it.

Day 10 (Tuesday)

I tried talking with Kise but he said that he was busy. I didn't mind but then I saw him with that girl again.

Day 11 (Wednesday)

The school is saying that Kise started dating that girl. I don't know why I hate the thought of him dating someone. I should care, I'm not his girlfriend and don't see him that way.

Day 12 (Thursday)

Kise is still ignoring me and I hate it so much. It's almost like I never existed in his life. I was hurt by his actions but I tried to ignore it. I also hated seeing that girl cling to him all the time.

Day 13 (Friday)

I was so glad that it was almost Saturday. I really didn't want to be around anyone anymore. I was also so sick of that girl that was always around Kise this last few days.
"Hey Zuri"
"What is it Kise"
"What are you doing tomorrow"
"Nothing...why"
"Want to hang out....It's been a while"
"...um..I don't know" I wasn't sure if I should except his offer.
"Come on, it will be fun" he was so excited and I laughed.
"Fine"

Day 14 (Saturday)

Kise made plans with me but then canceled last minute. I was getting dressed when he texted me. He could even bother to call me to explain himself to me.

Kise

Sorry but something came up, maybe next time.
I will make it up to you, promise

I hate it so much, it's like he forgot about me. I laid down on my bed when I felt my eyes tear up. I didn't understand why it made me so sad.
