Mila's POV
Kanina ko pa nahahalata ang pagkatensiyon ng boyfriend ko na para bang naiilang, pati tuloy ako naiilang na rin sa kung anuman ang gusto niyang sabihin. Looking at him now made me regret that moment of madness I did at the resort. Until now, I'm still not saying this incident. Because I think he's not going to understand. But how can he understand, when I know that it's not right before it all started? Jacob had been very generous on me. He's a gentleman. Kahit minsan hindi niya iginiit ang karapatan niya bilang boyfriend ko. Kaya ganoon na lang kalaki ang pagsisisi ko sa not intentionally "cheating" incident. Okay, Mila think! Say something!..
Mila: Jay, is there something wrong? Is there something you want to tell me?. (She holds his hands)
She felt guiltness. She just smiles at him. Because she's also want to say something, well that "craziness" grandfather's agreement. She wants him to clearly understand that she want to accept on that agreement because of her grandfather's condition.
Jacob: Mila, I just want to say that..... I'm breaking up with you... I'm sorry.
Mila's POV
BOOM! Ouch is it me? Or.. sh*t! I don't know what to say, it freakin' hurts!.. I'm just staring at him finding answers.. why? Does he know? But how? I think....
Jacob: it's not you.. It's me.
Even though nasaktan siya sa pakikipagbreak ng boyfriend niya, she didn't show her emotions. Imbis na umiyak siya, she just smiles at him and act like it didn't happened. But it's better that way. She was spared from having an explanation on her crazy behavior at the resort. Hindi na siya humingi ng paliwanag sa kanya. Marahil nga ay kailangan niya ng pagbigyan ang kanyang lolo.
Weeks later...
Nasasaktan pa rin siya sa paghihiwalay nila ni Jacob. Ito ang pinakamatagal niyang naging karelasyon. She's expecting that he is the one, her future. Because of that and because of her grandfather's condition, sumunod siya sa hacienda na pagmamay- ari nila, one of their properties. Her grandfather was there before her. She's leaving for her to moved on.
Later That Night....
Mila: kayo na muna ang bahala dito sa bookstore huh? magbabakasyon muna ako and for me to move on. Pasensya na sai---....
Jaymee: hey, don't say that, it's fine. kami na muna ang bahala dito sa bookstore, don't punish yourself. If someone breaks your heart, there's someone whose willing to wait.. kaya go go! Magbakasyon ka at mag move on..
Aina: oo nga naman, at unang una sa lahat siya tong makapal ang mukha nakipagbreak ba naman sa'yo, ang ganda ganda mo kaya. alam mo friend, huwag mo nang alalahanin tong bookstore at pumunta ka na dun sa hacienda niyo. gorabels! and by the way, take a good care of your lolo.
Mila: thank you so much. Mamimiss ko kayo ng ilang months or sana hindi magtagal. I love you both so much..
Aina & Jaymee: we love you too. Mag-ingat sa byahe. Andito lang kami.
Nagyakapan silang tatlo at umalis na siya... magandang pagkakataon na rin daw iyon para mas madali siyang makarecover kay Jacob.
Days Later......
She can't keep on staring at the driveway, may humimpil na sasakyan. That's the day na darating si Kenji at ang kanyang lolo.
Mila's POV
But because Lolo and I are here for a week now, he keeps annoying me, almost everyday just to accept on his agreement para siyang bata. Minsan ay gusto ko nang magalit sa pagpipilit niya sa akin and he's using his condition for god's sake. How can I resist him?. Hmmm by the way they're here. I saw him, he's tall dark and... WHAT?! IT CAN'T BE! ....
They keep on staring each other and Kenji was so happy but Mila was uncomfortable. Bakit ganoon na lang kung maglaro ang tadhana? Kung sino pa ang taong ayaw niya nang makita kahit kailan, ito pa ang nasa harap niya ngayon.. She can't barely move because on what she saw. Para siyang nanghihina dahil naalala niya nanaman ang nangyaring kabaliwan doon sa resort.
Lolo Simon: Kenji, hijo! (He's very happy), we thought you couldn't come.
Kenji: good evening, Don Simon (he can't stop staring at mila) and good evening to you also, beautiful.
Kenji's POV
Yes! It can be! Thank you Lord for this blessing! Hah! Just like I said if I'm going to see her again, I'm not gonna let her go. I didn't expect it's her! pumayag ako sa condition because of my grandfather but now I think it's for me too. When she saw me, para siyang nakakita ng multo. But I don't care, she's gonna be mine, only mine.
Lolo Simon: Mila, hija, siya si Kenji, my best friend's grandson and Kenji this my beautiful granddaughter, Mila.
Mila's POV
Oh Gosh! I think I'm gonna melt because of his sweet passionate smile, napakapit ako sa wheelchair ni Lolo para doon kumuha ng lakas. If I'm not going to do that baka bigla akong bumagsak.
Mila: Hi..
She's thankful that they're pretending they don't know each other. Kapag nagkataon ay hindi niya alam kung paano niya sasagutin ang kanyang lolo.
Lolo Simon: Halika sa loob, I'm sure you're hungry because of a long trip.
Kenji: napakalaki po pala ng hacienda niyo..
Lolo Simon: don't worry, pasasamahan kita kay Mila to stroll the rest of it.
Mila: Lolo?!
They don't know each other that eventually, but her Lolo is putting them on that opportunity na sila lang na dalawa. Kung ngayon ngang kaharap niya si Kenji kasama ang kanyang Lolo, hindi na siya mapakali, what if pa kaya kung sila na lang dalawa?...
Kenji: I would love to. (He's smiling)
Mila's POV
Oh, God! Lolo is forcing me na samahan ko siyang libutin ang hacienda bukas. At parang may iba pang bagay na naglalaro sa isip ng lalaking yan.. Habang kumakain kaming tatlo I'm just speechless. And my grandfather has too many questions on him at matiyaga naman niyang sinasagot. Nakahinga lang ako ng maluwag nang matapos ang pagkakape nila at ang pagkekwentuhan baka kasi you know.... Afterwards, my grandfather get some rest sinamahan ko siya...
