William Afton awoke, the covers of the bed feeling uncomfortable on his body. Nothing really felt the same to him after that fateful day at Fredbear's Family Diner. He shot upward, remembering his son. His son...

"Oh, you damn fool." He whispered softly.

He didn't like the words Henry had cut him with. Why yes, he did know what happened there. It hurt him to lose his son. However, he didn't feel grief like most parents did. He was more curt when speaking with his family, berating Michael for his more commonly-seen grief, and being quite short with his wife. The only person William wasn't completely abysmal to was Elizabeth, his daughter, who was just a toddler.

He got out of bed. His wife wasn't in the room with him, but the smell of eggs coming from the kitchen and into the room caressed William's nostrils like a mother to their child. He put his hands to his face and just chuckled for a bit before getting dressed and walking all the way to the front door. His wife came in front of him right before he got to the coat rack with a profound frown on her face.

"Why haven't you had breakfast yet?" She said, "You need to eat a home-cooked meal every now and then, William!"

William looked up to her face and shook his head.

"Work calls, Clara." He stated as he tried to push past her.

She responded by standing her ground, blocking William from getting to the coat rack.

"Eat." Clara said simply, "You'll need the energy."

William looked her in the eyes and sighed, slumping over a bit. He embraced Clara in a tight hug, kissing her on her cheek, with her returning the hug. After the embrace ended, he went and ate, albeit quickly, before leaving the room and once again going to the coatrack to grab his purple coat that went along with his purple dress pants.

Michael Afton watched all of this and sighed. William didn't really do much with the family in general after the incident with his brother, and because of that, he had a strong sense of responsibility to correcting his mistakes. Though he didn't know what his father was going to do. He was taken out of his contemplations when Elizabeth squealed while mushing her food with a big plastic fork. Michael chuckled as he went to clean her up.

William left without so much as saying goodbye. The sun shone brightly on his face bringing a scowl to his face. Clouds covered most of the sky, but one area was open like an eye, where the sun was the eyeball, staring down at the oddly-dressed man getting into his purple car. He started the engine and went over to an old pizzeria that was being renovated for the new owners. The sign above him said "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza", with the whole crew of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy smiling warmly, with pizza being held by Chica.

William's scowl became a smile as he parked and found Henry Emily himself there, with a large crate being wheeled in by one of the renovators and Henry directing the man where to go. William got out of his car and walked over to Henry. Henry saw his friend and smiled half-heartedly.

"Things going smoothly, I hope?" William asked his friend.

"Indeed they are." Henry said, "I bet you've seen the signs already?"

"That I have, Henry." William said warmly, "You've got yourself a pretty good commission."

Henry sighed, "Well, I try my best."

William nodded before walking inside the pizzeria to find that things were pretty close to being done. He noted, though, the crate that was brought in had been opened, and a large present box was nearby the door. The man tinkering with it smiled toward William and motioned toward the box. William took the cue and moved closer to the box before the lid popped up with a wide-smiling face staring at William. He didn't even flinch. He just took a look at the puppet, who had a white, smiling mask on black felt. Purple "tear lines" went down from the eyes down to the mouth, with two large red dots were on its cheeks. A black and white striped pattern went down the forearms and legs of the puppet, and three white buttons went down from its chest. Two white lights lit up in the eye sockets, and that made William jump.
