Undeniable Romance

         MAAGA akong nagising upang ihanda ang sarili sa aking trabaho. Mabilis akong naligo pagkatapos ay mabilis rin na kumain ng agahan at lumakad na patungo sa aking trabaho.

“Good morning, Ma'am.” Alyse, my secretary suddenly greeted at me.

“What are my schedule, Aly?” I ask her while looking at my laptop. One of our shareholders break the rules. And he should be liable regarding the regulations indicated in our contract.

“You have a board meeting with the directors at exactly 9 o'clock in the morning, Ma'am. That's all, Ma'am.” I mouthed her thank you.

I started with my everyday routine inside my office. I keep my attention focus on my work and neglect first everything that is useless.

Managing a company is not easy as fuck! Masakit sa ulo! Parang hinihiwa ang bungo mo lalo na kapag maraming pumapalyang empleyado. I'm not strict nor attitude to my employees.

It's just that, I wanted to finish their job at the time it allotted. I want to focus on their job to do it better.

Ayokong sinasabayan nila ng kung ano anong bagay na hindi naman konektado sa kanilang trabaho. Ayokong inuuna nila ang walang kwentang bagay kaysa sa trabaho.

Because for me, work is important than everything.

“Ma'am Ms. Feb is here.” Mula sa intercom, nagsalita ang secretary ko.

“Let her in.” I told her.

What the hell is she doing here? Damn, February! Ano na naman ang pakay mo sa akin?

I blew a heavy sighed.

“What was that heavy sigh for?” Hindi ko namalayang nakapasok na pala ang kapatid ko.

“What brings you here?” I ask without looking at her.

I'm currently sorting out some idea about the three–storey building for Mr. Quizon. He's one of our client.

“Aren't you happy to see me, Ate?” She said while giggling. I rolled my eyes at her.

“You're wasting my time, February. If you don't have anything to say, leave this place.” I shook my head to her.

“Ate you're so harsh today huh! Kaya ka hindi nagkakaboyfriend dahil super sungit mo.” Masama ko lang itong tinapunan ng tingin.

“February!”

“E sorry na nga po eto na oh, tatahimik na.” She zip her mouth.

Damn, this sister of mine makes me frustrated.

“Why are you here? Alam ba ni Dad na pupunta ka dito, February ha? I swear, you're grounded kapag hindi.” I told her.

Knowing her, kung saan saan ito nakakarating. Kung saan saan ito nakakaabot ay hindi ko alam kay Dad kung bakit hindi manlang ito pagalitan. He's spoiling her to the max.

“Nagpaalam ako kay Mommy, Ate.” Mabilis na sagot nito. “Tsaka wala akong kasama sa bahay. Dad and Ate January went to Lolo's house to visit while si Mom naman nagpunta kila Tita Rian.”

“At bakit hindi ka sumama kay Mom, February?” I stare at her. She's lying at my sofa like she's at home

“I don't want to, Ate. Tsaka I want to visit you e. Why don't you visit mom and dad then?”

“I'm busy.” Binawi ko naman ang tingin ko sa kanya.

“They are waiting for you. Anyway, ate pinapatanong ni Mom kung kailan ka uuwi so that she will prepare your favorite food.”
