"Let me see her!" I roared at the top of my lungs. I had been fighting them for the last ten minutes and it was starting to piss me off. I pushed them as far away as I could only to have another push me up against the wall.

"My king now is not the time to be difficult! Allow the doctors to do their job and she will be fine." He reasoned. I took a deep breath to try and calm down. No matter how badly I wanted to rip his throat from his neck, he was right. I only want what's best for her and if waiting is what she needs, then that's what I'll do.

Just as I had finally come to terms with it all, her blood-curdling scream echoed throughout the halls and all logic left my mind. I need to be there to comfort her. I need to hold her in my arms and tell her that everything is ok. That she doesn't have to worry because I am here. I need to be there.

My eyes turned a lethal red as I stared down at the man. He was the only thing standing between me and my wife. I grabbed him by his neck and pushed him against the wall just as he did me. "Why am I not allowed to at least be in the room?" I asked, my grip subconsciously tightening. "Why?" I questioned.

"Mercy," He squeezed out. "The doctors... they're afraid of what you'll do if anything goes wrong," His face was turning purple underneath my grasp as he tried to pry my fingers off of him. "Forgive me, Sire. I never meant to disrespect you."

I was snapped out of my murderous haze when I heard her yell my name. He wasn't the focus. I dropped to the ground and turned around to see the group of men approaching me again. "We are only doing our jobs, My king." Another one said. I ran a hand through my hair and walked past them into the waiting room. Where I paced the room for the next hour listening to her screams and trying to quell my nerves. Debating whether I should find a way to get to her or not. Just when I had decided that I was going to try again, Titus and Reina burst through the door.

"Where the hell have you two been?" Titus smirked as Reina looked away with her face turning as red as her hair. No way. "Don't tell me you guys- for fuck's sake." I sighed. It's no surprise that he would do something like that, but I have to say, I had a little more faith in Reina.

"The better question is where have you been? After we came out of the storage room you were gone. The guards had to tell us where you were." He said and Reina smacked his chest.

"Titus!" She gasped. The red tint on her face revealing a disturbing story.

"What?" He asked as if he didn't just reveal the location of their secret rendezvous. I laughed to myself and sat down in a chair. One day, that mouth of his is going to get him killed. I continued to laugh until I heard another one of her screams and once again, I was reminded of my situation.

"What the fuck was that?" Titus whispered in horror.

"She's in labor." I sighed.

"Think of it on the bright side. Once this is all over with, you'll have two little boys to call your own." I smiled at the very thought of it. Mariella and I decided to keep the genders unknown until they were born and I've been dying to know. I always wanted a son, but if I get two girls I'll be happy nonetheless. Titus thinks it will be two boys, so he has been planting the thought in my mind ever since he found out the news.

The door swung open and I was on my feet in seconds. "My king, we need your help. She's refusing to push." The nurse didn't have to say another word before I was following her out in pursuit of my wife and when she opened the door I was immediately overcome by the scene in front of me. I rushed to her side and she squeezed my hand. "Listen to me, my love. I need you to push." I said as I ran my fingers through her hair.

She took several deep breaths as tears rushed down her cheeks. "I can't." She cried and felt my heart drop to my stomach. "It hurts so bad." She whispered.
