Hi

Sivaangi looked up from the book she was reading when her phone beeped, indicating a message. Wondering who could be sending a message at this hour, she picked up her phone and unlocked it to open the text she just received. The number wasn't saved in any of her contacts which made Sivaangi doubtful, clicking on the icon she was met with a simple 'Hi'.

Stop staring at the screen and reply to me

Who are you and how'd you know I was staring?

Sivaangi looked around her room to see if anyone was watching her, what she failed to realize was that her window was unlocked and opened, meaning anyone could just so happen to see through.

Where's the fun in this if I just tell you everything, it's a secret

God! Who are you and what do you want? Isn't it like way past your bed time?

Now shouldn't I be asking you that question?

How do you know I haven't gone to bed yet? Are you a stalk!? What the heck, I'm calling the police.

Wait! Stop don't! I can assure you I ain't a stalk.

And how do I believe that?

You just have to, trust me I'm a good guy.

Wowww, that seems sooo believable

Wait really, am I that convincing?.

No. I was being sarcastic *rolls eyes*

Did I ask you to be?

Your infuriating, goodbye I hope this is the last time we'll ever speak.

Sivaangi clicks on the send button, afterward her hand slowly moves towards her bedside table to put her phone down. Just as the thought that this strange guy probably had enough of this went through her mind, her phone screen blared again, making Sivaangi retract her hand back again to check the message one last time.

Will you be my valentine?

A strong gust of wind gushes by, making Sivaangi groan to herself internally. What could be worse than a day like this, she thought before running after the paper cards that flew out of her grip when the wind started blowing, adding to her misery.

"Ennaku-nu vanthu vaachuthu" she huffs breathing heavily as she runs after the flying cards. Halting to take a breathe, she stops for a few seconds while leaning with her palms on her knees before she heard light footsteps.

Tilting her head upwards a little, she was met with an outstretched hand that held the cards that flew away from her grip. Embarrassed that she had been caught by someone, Sivaangi slowly and nervously looked up at the person who had caught the loose cards. When the person's face came into view, she found herself staring into two startling brown orbs and a perfectly chiseled face. But the only thing was, the person who helped was the last person on earth she would assume to help her out.
