childe paced back and foward, waiting for any news on koi. hanako gripped her phone tightly in her hand, glaring at the screen harshly.
the doctor slowly walked out of the room, childe immediately raising his head, running towards the doctor.
"any news doc?!"
the doctor, dr baizhu, smiled, "she's doing alright, mr childe, but she may not be in the condition to speak now."
baizhu stepped to the side, giving childe space to run inside.
childe ran into the room, koi sleeping peacefully. he smiled softly, walking up to her slowly.
"thank god you're alive..." childe said, tucking her hair behind her ear, "i don't know what i would do without you..."
