koi slowly opened her red eyes, feeling something heavy beside her. she looked down, seeing a sleeping childe beside her.
'he looks like he cried a few hours ago..' she thought, examining the red around his eyes and dry stained tears on his cheeks.
koi smiled softly, picking up her hand to lightly ruffle his hair.
childe immediately rose up as he felt slender fingers touch his hair. he looked at koi in shock, hugging her tightly.
"i thought i lost you, koi!" childe slightly sobbed.
"oh- i'm so sorry childe..." she apologized, hugging him back.
"don't apologize... i'm just glad you're back."
the two hugged in silence, hanako watching in jealousy.
