Chapter 10

-next day-

Alison

Calum stayed over last night but asked me to stay at his for a few days. He went back home to get ready and said he'll be back later to walk with me. I got ready for school like usual and made some eggs as breakfast. I haven't heard from Luke at all... or Nat. Which is strange because we text everyday. I shrug it off since maybe she was too busy or something. There was a knock on the door, probably Calum. I opened but Calum wasn't there. It was Luke. "Hi?" I said slightly confused. "Hey. I need to ask you something," He asks them steps in the shit on the couch. "Okay... " I said still confused.

"Is it okay if I take Nat on a date?" He blurted out. I looked at him.. shocked. He's trying to get with my best friend while I've been trying to get with his best friend. "Why?" I asked him. "I don't know... I guess I like her," He says slowly. Well at least he had the guts to come to me for permission. "No not that, that was kind of a bit obvious but why did you come to me to ask?"

"Your her best friend and I'm scared you'll get mad," He says. "I wouldn't of. You two clearly like each other and I don't wanna be the reason why you two aren't together," I told him. "So is that a yes?" He asks. "Yes," I smiled. He gives me a hug. "Thanks," He says. "But... " I said pulling away.

"If you dare hurt her... Im kicking your ass," I said innocently. "I won't," He chuckles. "Can I ask you something?" I asked him. "Sure," He says. "I um... may or may not... like... C-Calum," I stuttered. He smirks. "Yes I won't be mad if you guys date. It'll be less awkward then," He says getting straight to the point. "Thanks," I said to him. "Calum's coming to pick me up soon so get out," I told him. "Ditching your cousin for your boyfriend," He says smirking. "Shut up," I said then pushed him out the door. Well, that was a lot of confessing.

Luke

I've actually never been happier. Now that I know Alison is okay with me liking Nat it feels like the whole world is off shoulders. I decide to head off to Nat's house so we can walk to school together. I knock on the door and she opens it shortly. "Uh hey what are you doing here?" She asked. "I just wanted to tell you something," I told her. She looks at me still confused.

She sat down and I sat down as well. "So what were you going to tell me?"she asked. "Um... I was wondering if I could go on a date with you?" I said quickly. "What did you say?" she asked. "I was wondering if you could go on a day with me?" I said again but this time not quickly. I waited for an answer and looked down on my lap. "Of course Luke," she said. I hugged her tightly and she hugged back.

Natalie

Luke finally asked me on a date.I'm so freaking happy. I hope Alison is fine with me and Luke going on a date. "Wait but did you ask Alison?" I asked pulling away from the hugged. "Yeah Alison said its fine if we date because I allowed her to date Calum," he said looking at me. "The date will be at 6.I'll pick you up then! Wear anything you want," he smiles before giving me a kiss on the cheek and getting out the door. He left me there just blushing. Damn I'm falling for this boy... hard.

-afterschool-

It's now 4 that means I have 2 hours to get read.. I didn't know what to do so I called Calum because Alison had to do something.

Calum came in my house about 5 minutes later. "Cal-pal is here to save the day!" he yelled. "Shut up and help me," I said. "What should I wear for the date?" I asked leading him to my room. "Just wear this," he said as he hands me a white tank top and black skinny jeans with a jean jacket. I paired it up with my white bow flats and my black clutch purse. "Thanks," I said. I kissed his cheek but he turned around and kiss his lips instead. We pull away quickly after realizing what we've done. "Oh my god I'm so sorry I'm such a dick. You like Luke and I like Alison why did I do that?" He rambles. "Cal its okay. You didn't mean to," I told him putting my hand on his shoulder. "No it's not. I just kissed you any your going on a date soon. What if Luke finds out?Oh god he's gonna beat my ass to the moon, and Alison? Shes gonna hate me forever. Im so-"
