my locs swung back and forth as my head moved to the beat of this instrumental my friend khaed made for me.
it's been two weeks since the incident i caused at the baby shower. my pen sloppily scrawled across the notebook page.
'... don't pretend to be okay when you're not okay. don't pretend to be happy when you're sad.'
i sighed as i took a big gulp from my half empty bottle of patron. i rubbed down my face as i chased it with hennessy. ".. and i know you fucking hate it when hear my name!" i exclaimed out loud as i let the liquor take over my body.
i sit back in my chair as i feel another wave of drunkness take over me. my vision is blurred as i whip out my phone and squint from the brightness.
i found me and stokeley's thread. i scrolled up and started reading our old messages. my face began to get hot, i don't know if it's from the liquor or because i miss him.
