Background

(Y/N) and his siblings work for their mother who wants to take back everything that was taken from her like valuables or things that she treasures most. That, and she steals random stuff for fun. But (Y/N) has one of the most important jobs, the tracker. His job is to get as much information and track down what they're after, then his siblings to the rest. He is also good with hand to hand fights but he doesn't get in many fights to show off.

Enough introduction!
Let's get to (Y/N).

(Y/N) POV

"So you're telling me, you want me to track down a... Badger? One that you used to know in high school?" I ask my mother in disbelief.

"Yes. I want my treasured possession that he stole from me long ago." She replies boiling water in a kettle.

"I also don't want you to tell anyone. Not even your siblings can know. So that being said, can you track him down so I can retrieve my baby?" She asks, turning to me.

Baby? "Alright" I say running to my room to grab my computer.

I return to the kitchen and sit at the island and go to google.

"So.. where should I start? Should I search his name or.. Was there an incident I can-" Mom interrupts me by setting down tea (If you don't like tea you can imagine something else) and ruffles my hair.

"His name was Jagger Dade, I'm not sure what he's been up to lately but I do know that he has been in a shooting once. I believe in Calotonia." I take a sip of my tea and start searching his name, the incident, everything.

"I'll leave it to you then. I gotta pick up Lucas and Avery to do errands, make sure your siblings don't try to burn the house down, again..." She says putting her tea in her 'Reality called so I hung up' tumblr."Don't worry I will." I replied reading an article about the shooting. "And please, don't stay on the computer all day. You need breaks too." She says walking next to me.

"I know mom" " Now don't get sassy with me" She chuckles, grabbing her keys. "I'll be on my way now, here" She hands me $100."Incase you guys want to order something since I have to buy groceries" She kisses my head and heads to the door. "Bye mom, love ya!" I wave at her. She blows a kiss and leave.

I turn back to the computer and look for the badger.

There are a lot of news articles about this guy..

I read a few, shocked that he caused a lot of shootings. Including his freaking school! Maybe that's where that scar on mom's shoulder came from.. I get to an article from 5 months ago and read it over.

I grab my notebook that I use for my tracking and write stuff down.

(Mom) Marie's POV

I quietly open the door ushering Lucas and Avery to go inside. They do, going to their rooms. I sigh, taking off my shoes and going to the kitchen to put the groceries away but stop seeing (Y/N) sleeping on his laptop. This boy...

I put the grocery bags by the fridge on the counter and walk to him crossing my arms. Should I carry him to bed? I look at his feet, which are kicking the island leaving marks. "Yeahh you ass is going to bed" I whisper, picking him up to his room. I put him in his bed covering him with his blanket. I ruffle his hair and walk back to the kitchen. I start putting groceries away and see his notebook with a few addresses.
