A king and a queen had been trying to have a child for many years. When the child finally arrived on a sunny Friday, they called her Aurora. A great holiday was announced to celebrate the lovely Aurora's birth. Wealthy visitors came from far and wide, including three bravely good fairies, named Merryweather, Fauna and Flora. One of the most important guests was another mighty king from a neighboring kingdom, who willingly brought his son Prince Philip. Both kings realized that their dreams of a united kingdom, could now come true.

The three good fairies kindly began offering their gifts to Aurora. Aurora received the gift of Beauty, and gift of Song but before the last gift was presented, a devilish fairy rudely interrupted. This vicious fairy was very upset that she wasn't invited to the party, so she cast a spell and on the day of aurora's 16th birthday, she would gently prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die.

The third good fairy hadn't offered her gift yet, and she was horrified at the spell the wicked fairy cast. The good fairy wasn't nearly strong enough to undo the spell, but she was able to restrain it a bit instead of death, Aurora would simply fall asleep until her true love came along to undo the spell with a kiss.

As protecting against the spell, all the spinning wheels were locked away in the basement of the grand palace. And Aurora? She was sent off to live in the beautiful woods with the three good fairies for her safety. But in the night before her 16th birthday, she felt like she got called over by a voice, telling her to prick her finger on a spinning wheel, so she did... She fell to the ground and was sent off in a deep, restless sleep. Her concerned parents called in all the mighty kingdoms to send in their sons to kiss Aurora awake. After two months of princes like Philip walking in and out of her without beautiful Aurora on their arm, looking each other lovingly in the eyes, the king and queen were losing hope. But then on a beautiful spring afternoon a girl came knocking on the gate saying that she wanted to try waking up Sleeping Beauty. The king laughed of course at the words of the girl, but soon stopped when he saw that she truly meant it. The king asked: 'What is your name, young lady?' 'Mia, princess of Kairos Sire, I- I just want to try it Sire.' The king looked determination in Mia's eyes and told her to follow him. When they arrived in Aurora's room Mia was blown away by the elegance of Sleeping Beauty. She carefully walked closer as if she was scared to wake her, she looked at all the small details of Aurora's face and body. She slowly leaned in and connected their lips. After the kiss Mia turned around ready to leave since she thought it didn't work when she felt a hand around her arm, forcing her to look back at Sleeping Beauty, seeing she was sitting straight up (at least one thing she can do straight). Aurora locked her lips with Mia's and for a moment it felt like time stopped. Mia's heart

pounding in her chest while her fingers interlocked with Aurora's making her smile. And as they both opened their eyes, Aurora spoke: 'this is what love is supposed to feel like, isn't it?' making Mia smile...

And they lived happily ever after.

I wrote this story for school, I needed to rewrite the last lines so it became a whole new story. I hope you like it
