"I ɢᴜᴇss ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ"

━━━━━━━━ Lots has happened since you were last back in Sam's home town. Karli took over one of the building making Sam and Bucky go after her and the flagsmashers ending with Karli dead.

Sam became the new Captain America which made you extremely happy because he deserves to have that title not John Walker. In celebration Sam has invited the couple back for a big barbecue.

The couple walk in both holding a cake each that the two made with smiles on their faces. The couple move around talking to different people feeling very welcome and happy to be here.

You take the two cakes over to the food table greeting Sarah and she introduces you to her friends and family. You watch as Sam and Bucky are smiling and laughing together finally friends after all this time.

As the day moves on, you spend more time with Sarah talking with Bucky as he lets some of the kids hang off his metal arm.

The sun is setting and the sky is full of beautiful colours as music plays through their ears when Bucky grabs your hands and spins you around.

"Are you dancing with me, Mr Barnes?" you ask him as Bucky places a hand on your waist and the other in your hand

"Can i not dance with my beautiful girlfriend?" Bucky asks you as the two move to the music

"I guess you can" you say with a smile

Bucky smiles back and spins you around but he doesn't grab your hand again, instead he kneels down on one knee and pulls out a small box.

As you turn back around you look down to see Bucky on his knee with the box open to show an engagement ring facing you making you grasp.

Everyone around you stops what they are doing to watch what is happening. With the music stopped all you are focused on is the man in front of you.

"Bucky, what-" you stop yourself not knowing what to say

"Ever since i first met you in that small apartment in Bucharest i knew i couldn't let you go so easily. I wanted to spend every minute of every day with you" Bucky starts off as the tears form in your eyes "You have no idea how much you mean to me and how much i am better because of you. You helped me through everything even when you just met me, i love you with everything i have and i want to spend the rest of my life with you. (y/n) (m/n) Maximoff, will you marry me?" he asks you

"Are you kidding? Yes i'll marry you! Of course!" you say happily getting onto your knees and pulling Bucky into a kiss

Bucky pulls away only to place the ring onto your finger not wiping the smile off of his face when you pull him into another kiss.

All around the newly engaged couple everyone is cheering and clapping as Sam walks over to them and pulling them into a hug.

With everyone saying their congratulations the couple make their way back to each other still smiling.

"I love you, Bucky" you say smiling up at him

"I love you too, (y/n)" Bucky says pulling you into a kiss
