━━━━━━━━ "You have to trust me for this to work, Bucky" (y/n) says walking towards the meeting place in the woods

"I do trust you, i don't trust myself" Bucky tells her as they walk side by side

"And that's exactly what i'm doing, is helping you to finally have trust in yourself again" she tells him

"You sound like Steve" Bucky says with a small chuckle

"He did say that to me before" (y/n) says with a smile "He says some inspirational shit sometimes"

The two continue to walk in silences together when they come up to a lit pathway leading them to an opening with three different fire pits.

"Ayo will be here soon" (y/n) says stepping to the second fire pit

"What do i need to do?" Bucky asks standing a bit behind (y/n)

"All you have to do is allow me into your mind" she says to him

"That's all?" Bucky asks not convinced

"Yep. I will destroy the part HYDRA has in your mind and Ayo will test if i did" she explains lighting the fire pits with her powers

Bucky looks at her not believing that it will work but he doesn't say anything. (y/n) nods to Bucky giving him a reassuring smile.

"I need you to kneel in front of this fire for me" (y/n) says to him

Bucky does what she says and he kneels down in front of the fire as (y/n) stands behind him taking in a deep breath.

"Are you ready?" (y/n) asks looking down at the long haired man

"Yes"

(y/n) softly placed her hands onto Bucky's head. Her mind races as she seeks into his mind, all his memories she can see. (y/n) focuses on the one part of his mind, the part that HYDRA has taken over.

As (y/n) enters Bucky's mind she walks towards what is a metal door which she opens it to be met with Bucky sitting strapped to a chair getting electrocuted.

She doesn't know what comes over her, but seeing Bucky like that made her mad. Green shots out of her hands to the guards all around making them fall to the ground dead.

(y/n) walks over to Bucky untying him from the chair letting him recover from the shock. She steps away from Bucky looking around the room knowing she has to kill the source, the source of his pain, the source to all the madness, to all the nightmares, to everything.

(y/n)'s eyes stop as to what seems like a mirror but she can sense someone behind the glass. She moves quickly smashing the glass open to see the soured standing there staring at her with a smirk .

(y/n) cracks her neck to the side before green wraps around the man's neck lifting him off the ground and snapping his neck.

Behind her she hears Bucky grasp making (y/n) snap around to him to see him fall back asleep peacefully.

(y/n) closes her eyes with a sigh and opens them back up when she feels the warmth of the fire on her skin again.

"Okay" she says breathing out stepping back from Bucky

"Are you okay?" Bucky asks standing up and grabbing her arm

(y/n) doesn't say anything. she just wraps her arms around Bucky's neck shocking him a little at the contact. He slowly melts into the hug wrapping his own arm around her waist.

"I'm so sorry. What you went through, no one deserved that, and i'll kill anyone who says otherwise" she tells him

"It is time" Ayo says making the two jump away from each other to see her standing there

"Are you sure about this?" Bucky asks her

"I won't let you hurt anyone" Ayo says to him

Bucky kneels down back in his spot while (y/n) moves back a little as Ayo starts to speak in Russian

"Longing"

"Rusted"

"Seventeen"

"It's not gonna work" Bucky tells her

"Daybreak"

"Furnace"

"Nine"

"Benign"

"Homecoming"

"One"

"Freight car" Ayo finishes and Bucky is still Bucky

"Did it work?" (y/n) asks Ayo confused

"You are free" Ayo says to Bucky 

Bucky softy smiles at (y/n) as she drops to her knees and they wrap their arms around each other with Bucky sobbing into your shoulder

"You're free" (y/n) repeats again
