Saiki K Goes to UA High! (Discontinued)

Chapter 18

It was finally time for the final match.
Saiki vs. Bakugo.
Saiki and Bakugo both stood in the arena, staring at each other with an intense look.
The audience anxiously awaited for the starting announcement.
"Ready...? Start!"
As soon the voice rang out, Bakugo blasted himself towards Saiki.
Saiki, knowing this would happen, stepped to the side and let Bakugo fall to the ground.
Bakugo growled and got back up.
He immediately started to run towards him, blasts at the ready.
Saiki jumped into the air and floated there.
Bakugo stumbled.
"Now you're really pissing me off! Fight back, you four-eyed coward!" He shouted.
"Oh, I intend to..."
Saiki smirked and floated higher into the air.
Once he was high enough, Saiki shot a burst of water at Bakugo.
Bakugo yelled and shook himself off.
"What the hell?! God damn you!"
He tried making explosions, but the sparks that appeared quickly went out.
Saiki used that opportunity to dash back down to the ground and go on the offense.
He started throwing hits at Bakugo.
Bakugo, not able to make blasts, just blocked Saiki quick hits.
Then, Bakugo found a weak spot.
"Die!"
He landed a punch square on Saiki's face.
Saiki grabbed his wrist.
A sense of dread settled in Bakugo's stomach.
Saiki slammed Bakugo to the Arena floor and immediately pinned him down.
Bakugo tried to get him off, but Saiki knew his every move, so his attempts were fruitless.
"Wait, what's that thing on his head?"
Unfortunately, Saiki gave away his surprise and worry.
Bakugo smirked and snatched the limiters from Saiki's head.
Saiki went motionless.
Bakugo used that grab his head and pin him down to the ground.
"Come on! Can't fight back?" He taunted.
"I can't afford to fight...Without my limiters, everyone here might not live to see another day..."
Saiki stayed still, resisting the urge to fight.
"Hey! Fight back, four eyes!" Bakugo yelled in his face.
He slammed his head to the ground in frustration.
This blow rendered Saiki unconscious.
"Damn it, Saiki! I can't win like this! Fight back!" Bakugo gripped his pink hair and jerked his body upright.
"That's enough, that's enough!"
The match was over, and Bakugo had won.
Bakugo was the winner of the Sports Festival.
A while later, Saiki woke up in the Nurse's Office, head bandaged.
"Saiki!" Kaminari waved to him from one of the chairs.
"That was intense! You did great! Don't feel bad that you lost to Bakugo..." Kaminari approached him and wrapped his arm around Saiki.
"I could've won, if only Bakugo hadn't taken out my limiters."
"Oh, those things on your head? What would happen if you did?" Kaminari asked.
"Then there would be nobody left to declare me the winner." Saiki replied.
Kaminari started sweating.
"Oh, that's...what those are for..." He said nervously.
"Calm down. These rarely come out." Saiki sighed.
"I hope so..." Kaminari said.
"But Anyways, hey, you still got second place! That's pretty good, man!"
Kaminari smiled.
"Yeah, I guess so." Saiki allowed himself a small smile.
"My powers aren't meant for combat, so I'm actually kind of surprised I made it this far." He explained.
"That's even better! Great job out there!" Kaminari locked Saiki in a hug.
Saiki was about to push him off, but he just gave in and let Kaminari hug him.
After that, the awards were given.
And with that, the Sports Festival was over.

(I'm so sorry this was late! I was busy that weekend! Anyways, I'm kinda glad I'm done with this...
