(So...I have no idea what specific battles happen... I'll try to keep it accurate, but please don't expect me to get it right :,]
Saiki sat on the bleachers, sipping a coffee he got from a nearby vending machine.
Arial sat next to him, lounging on the bench.
"So, who're you up against?" She casually asked.
"Iida."
"Cool, I'm fighting Kaminari. That'll be a blast." Arial let out a suspicious chuckle.
"Just wait until he finds out he can't electrocute bones..." She whispered, chuckling again.
Saiki shook his head.
"Good grief... Again, why is this a big deal...?" He asked.
Arial scoffed over-dramatically.
"Because this is where you get scouted by heroes! We could be sidekicks!" Arial had stars in her eye sockets.
"Why would I need to be a sidekick? I can take down most of these heroes at a glance."
Arial huffed.
"You know, that attitude is not gonna get you anywhere. Back in your world, you might've been the most powerful. But here? You're surrounded by people who could even beat you. So don't underestimate your opponents, Kay?" She gave him finger-guns.
Saiki rolled his eyes and sipped his coffee.
"She's right though. For once, I might meet my match in this world..."
Saiki then sat through the two fights before Arial's.
After the second had finished, he decided to go to the training room to prepare.
And to his luck, Bakugo was there.
As soon as he opened the door, Saiki started to leave.
"Hey! Come back here, four-eyes!"
Bakugo grabbed the back of his shirt and tugged him back into the room.
"Leave me alone." Saiki's face remained expressionless.
"You'd better fucking win!"
Saiki raised an eyebrow.
Bakugo got in his face.
"You are going to win, you are going to fight me, and I'm going beat your ass so that-!"
"So you can say that you're better than me?"
Saiki's blank expression turned into a more aggressive one.
"Well that's not going to happen. Do you honestly think you can beat a psychic? I could blast you to the other side of the world with a flick. And that's with my limiters on."
"You talk real big, four-eyes! Let's see if you can back it up!" Bakugo gripped the collar of Saiki's shirt.
"Bring it on..." He narrowed his eyes.
"Hey...Saiki...? It's almost time for your fight..." Sero looked inside the room.
He yelped in fear at the sight of Bakugo and Saiki and ran away.
Bakugo scoffed and let go.
"Don't screw this up." He growled.
Saiki walked out, not responding.
"I'm going to absolutely destroy that arrogant bastard."
He got out into the arena, with Iida already there.
"Ready...? Go!" The announcer shouted.
Saiki listened in to his thoughts.
"Let's see if he can avoid a charge..."
At that moment, Iida dashed at him with the help of his engines.
Saiki teleported behind him.
"Where did he go?!"
Before he could do anything else, Saiki pinched a pressure point at the base of his skull.
Iida fell onto the ground, unconscious.
Everyone stared in disbelief.
"Great. Now everyone is going to be paying more attention to me." Saiki sighed for his rookie mistake.
"Why didn't I just lose on purpose? I could've at least put up a fight..."
But then he realized something.
"Bakugo...No matter how loud or annoying he is... Damn, he can piss people off..." Saiki shook his head.
Eventually, after a lot of congratulations and questions, Saiki managed to get back in his spot at the bleachers.
Arial sat next to him, unsurprisingly.
"Honestly, now you're just showing off." She rolled her eye-lights.
Saiki stayed silent.
He took out some money and apported some food from the stands outside.
He watched as people won and lost in their fights.
And with that, the first round was over.
