They both went downstairs and sat down at the kitchen table

"Oh yangyang I'm just so excited that you made a friend so what's your name"

Renjun smiled

"Huang Renjun"

He held his hand out and she shook it

"So Renjun do you have any future plans"

Yangyang panicked at first but then Renjun spoke confidently

"I wanna be an astronomer I really love the stars"

Yangyang saw his boyfriends eyes light up full of excitement

My baby likes stars, I didn't know that. But that sparkle in his eyes...

Renjun rambled on and on about it excitedly to his mother and yangyang propped his head up on his hands

Is the cutest thing I've ever seen

"My baby is so adorable"

Yangyang said suddenly making everyone freeze

No i got too caught up in the moment

Mrs. liu stared at him seeing his eyes shake in fear

He stood up confidently but deep down he was more nervous than ever

"M-mom I have to tell you something and-and you might be disappointed in me but I-I don't care because I'm happy"

He looked at Renjun and grabbed his hand

"M-mom this is.....my boyfriend Renjun"

She nodded

"Ok"

Yangyang's eyes filled with tears

"Listen before you get mad- wait what"

He said processing what came from her mouth

She chuckled

"Son I knew you were fruity since you were five when you told that kid in the park he had a nice ass, to be honest I'm just upset that you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend"

Yangyang sniffled

"I-I thought you wouldn't accept me and your really strict so I just assumed you wouldn't like it"

She sighed and hugged her son tightly

"I'm sorry if I've been so hard on you, ever since we made the big move things have been different for us and I didn't want you to make a bad future for yourself, but now i see that you have everything figured out so I'll lay off and let you go your own way"

Yangyang hugged her back tightly

"Thank you mom I promise I'll make you proud"

She looked at Renjun and smiled

"Are you really into astrology or was that a lie"

Renjun blushed

"W-well yeah I am it's my dream"

She nodded

"I hope your dreams come true and i wish the best for you two"

She walked away to her room and they went upstairs to yangyang's room

"Wow it worked out really well"

He said hugging yangyang with a big smile

He hugged back and they sat down for a bit just chilling

"Ren"

"Hm"

He hummed in response

"I didn't know you were into astrology why didn't you tell me"

Renjun scratched his head nervously

"Well I just thought you would think it was lame or nerdy I know i'm kinda boring so i thought you wouldn't really be interested in it especially since we're so different you know"

Yangyang rubbed his hair

"It's not nerdy i think is really cool and your not boring in fact i love that we're so different from each other I always cause trouble and do stupid things and you always scold and warn me all the time, I love it I think our dynamic is perfect"

Renjun smiled

"R-really"

He nodded

"Of course you'll never bore me I love you too much"

Renjun giggled and checked his phone

"Ohh I should probably get home it's late"

Yangyang kissed him and smiled

"Ok get home safely sweetie"

He left the house with a big smile

Everything is working out
