Fountain Fantasies | Chapter 19

Silence just filled the air as Kris walked over to the robot with tears pouring down their eyes, they looked inside the boiler and saw all of the coal had been used. They took one out and looked at it with a tear landing on it, for the tear only to be extinguished by the warm piece of coal.

But the tear had left a message on it, it just said "Rule 11:". Kris took the other coals out and let their tears land on them, and slowly it revealed the message Y/n had left for them.

Kris: "Rule 11: How would you revive a boss?"... (Edge Crystals)

Ralsei: I-It r-runs on c-coal r-right? M-maybe w-we g-get some o-of t-that, and l-light i-it?

Hera: That's better than nothing, but is there any coal around here?

Susie: Maybe something else?

Morpheus: Would paper work?

Toriel: It might... but we need something for it to actually light onto... something dry... mainly something full of carbon like coal...

Kris: Wood.

Susie: I know what i'm using this axe for then, got any trees you want gone Ralsei?

Ralsei: U-Umm, y-yeah, th-that old one right n-near the entrance...

Susie: Cool, be back in a sec.

Susie picked her axe up and went to chop the tree down, during this it had gone silent again with Morpheus still looking at the pocket watch and Hera comforting him. Susie came back 10 minutes later with some wood and put it inside the boiler, Morpheus ripped some paper out of his book and put it in the boiler as well.

Toriel threw a fireball into the paper making it catch on fire and Kris closed the boiler door and walked back to the others to see what would happen. But there was still one more thing a steam train needed... water.

Ralsei: I-I think s-steam t-trains need water, anyone got any?

Kris took the bottle of water out of their pocket that Y/n had given them and walked back over to the steam train. They poured it all in the convenient water insertion hole and walked back to the others. A minute later the steam started to slowly but surely reappear out of the steam funnels and mere seconds later the light inside of the engine room turned on to reveal the passed out Y/n.

Kris: (C'mon, we need this, we're not letting you die, not like this.)

Minutes passed and Y/n still hadn't moved, and just as everyone was about to give up all of the SOULs slowly left them all and flew over to the robot. They spun around above the robot at lightning speed and crashed into each other making a new, rainbow coloured, SOUL.

Hera: A new SOUL? What's this one?

LOVE

That word echoed all around them, filling their heads, and the love SOUL got rid of the robot making Y/n fall on the ground. The SOUL then slowly floated down on when it got to Y/n it just went inside her making her grey body turn back to it's original colour.

Y/n: But LOVE overpowers all of those things.

Y/n slowly got off the ground, and when she fully stood up some rainbow particles appeared around her. They turned into a blue cape with a love heart on the back, a shovel that had diamonds embedded into the bar, a pocket watch that was gold with diamonds made into a love heart, and her outfit changing from blue to red with blue stripes going down the sides.

Once everything had been changed she rubbed her eyes and collapsed on the floor. Everyone ran over to her and Toriel checked her pulse, she was fine, just tired after all of that.
