"Hey champ" Megan Barnes said to her good friend Mason Mount.

"Hello" he said back with a smile as he hugged his friend.

"Well done on the big assist" she said as she patted his back.

"Thank you, quite proud of it to be honest" he said, trying not to sound cocky.

"As you should be" she said with her hand on his shoulder.

"I'm gonna go now I'll see you later" he said as he jogged into the tunnel where all the boys seemed to be going, but before they disappeared she caught eyes with someone, Ben Chilwell. She had never really talked to Ben a lot, but he seemed nice.

As she was walking out of the stadium she saw that Ben had followed her so she decided to follow him back, since he was part of the club she worked for.

At around 1am she got back to the hotel the team and staff were booked into, she was of course one of the first there.

When she got up to her room she lay on her bed not being able to stop thinking about those ocean eyes, Ben's eyes.

"Good morning" Christian Pulisic said to Megan. "You ready to go?" He asks her as the team and staff were getting their suitcases together.

"Yeah, are you?" She asks him.

"Yeah, still mad at myself for missing that opportunity yesterday though" he said with a sigh.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up about that we won, we're champions of Europe!" She said with a smile, trying to make him feel better.

"Thanks" he said with a smile as the rest of the boys made their way down the stairs.

"Okay are we ready to get going?" Thomas Tuchel asked the group, who were all clearly tired. They all said yes and they started walking to the coach to take them to the airport

"Hey" someone said behind the girl.

"Oh, hey Ben" she said with a smile as he stated walking beside her, and then she was met with the same ocean eyes as yesterday.

"I realised, we've never really talked much since I came here" he said, he'd only been at the club for that season after making the move from Leicester.

"Yeah, you're right, are you enjoying it here?" She asked him, starting a conversation.

"Yeah, it's been good I've made some good friends and nothing feels better than being champions of Europe" he said with a smirk.

"Defiantly" she said with a smile. Now the champions league was over, the season was over which she was sad about as she wouldn't see the boys for a few months apart from the ones she was close with.

"So, how long have you been working with the club?" He asked her.

"Three years now, best job I've taken" she said as she almost didn't take the job as she had Dortmund offering her one, but she had to choose Chelsea as she supported them and didn't want to move to Germany.

"Good, good, hey when we're back home do you think I could take you out somewhere?" He asked her, which truly shocked her as her eyes widened.

"Oh uh yeah of course" she said as she stuttered slightly.

"Great! I'll pick you up at eight?" He asked her.

"Yeah, yeah fine by me" she said with a smile, but in her head she was having a full on party.
