Chapter four

3 matches later

It was England's fourth match and Ben still hadn't played a single minute of football, and wasn't going to tonight.

Meg was still there watching though, then her phone pinged a few minutes before the match started.

Ben :)
Hey, once everyone's gone
From the stadium do you
Think you could meet me
Outside, I miss you

Me:
Yeah of course I can, I miss
You too

Once the match had finished, England won which she was extremely happy about, but she was even more excited to see Ben for the first time in three weeks.

Half an hour after the match had finished she made her way outside the stadium and waited for Ben.

"Meg!" He shouted as she swung around and wrapped her arms around him.

"Ben, I missed you" she said as she was still hugging him.

"I missed you too" he whispered to her, as they both sat down on a bench together.

"Hey, what's up?" She said, seeing the boy was clearly upset.

"I'm just so tired of not playing, feel so shit" he said sighing as he put his head on her shoulder.

"I know it's draining, but you are not shit okay? You play for Chelsea, a top club, this stays between me and you, but you know Southgate has favourites" she said as she played with his hair.

"Yeah you're right, I'm just happy I'm seeing you" he said as he kissed her cheek.

"I'm happy I'm seeing you too" she said with a smile.

"I actually wanted to ask you something" he said, a little nervously.

"Sure" she said, having a good feeling about what he was going to say.

"Meg, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked her, with a little blush.

"Yes, yes, yes!" She said with a smile as he smiles and kissed her.

That night she was laying in bed with Duke curled up beside her, she couldn't sleep.

"I miss daddy" she said to Duke, referring to Ben. He looked at her as she was talking to him. "I'm a little bit worried about him" she said as he moved closer to her and started licking her. "Oi cheeky" she said giggling as she got up and went to the bathroom.

As she got back into bed her phone pinged. It was 2am so she had no idea who would be texting her at this time.

Ben :)
You awake?

Me:
Yep

Ben :)
Face time?

Me:
Course :)

"Hey" he said as she picked up his call.

"Hey" she said with a smile, seeing his face.

"Is Duke there?" He asked her.

"Yeah he's right here" she said as she turned the camera to duke.

"Awh, if I was him I wouldn't wanna come back" he said giggling a little.

"Don't be silly, he misses you like crazy" she says giggling, every time she had taken him to Ben's house he would cry, which broke her heart. "Every time I take him to your house he starts crying, which nearly makes me cry" she says giggling again.

"Awh, you know when dogs crying makes her sad that she's a keeper" he says with a smile.

"Benjamin stop making me blush" she says sarcastically.

"Oh shut up with Benjamin" he says giggling, it always made him laugh when she called him that.

"I wish you were here, like for real" she says, the truth was she wanted him in more ways than she thought.

"Oh do you?" He said with a smirk, knowing what she meant.

"Yeah" she says with a little pout.

"When I'm back, I promise we can do that" he says with a smirk.

"Yeah?" She asks him, she was really falling for him.

"Of course, as long as you want to" he says, getting her consent even before they did anything which she thought was really sweet.

"Of course I do Ben" she said with a smile.

"Okay, we'll I'm gonna go now love, I'll speak to you soon" he said, sweetly, as a matter of fact he was falling for her too.

"Speak soon, bye" she said with a smile as he returns her smile and hangs up.
