Chapter 1

A week before Antonio's gift ceremony

6pm,Thursday
Camilos POV:
I sat and ate dinner that tia Julieta had made,I took a sip of my lemonade and placed it back down onto the place mat I put some more food into my mouth and chewed it. A bright orange  candle light shone through the dining room door startling everyone and making me almost choke on my food. Abuella jumped up and ran to the front room followed by everyone else. My jaw drops staring up at the candle which is burning brighter then the sun. Boom a bright flash of light came from the candle. When I opened my eyes again a girl was stood on the roof,a beautiful girl with h/c hair;she had on a white shirt like my sisters with a dark red skirt that faded into a fiery look;she had beautiful skin and perfect e/c eyes. Abuella looked at here disgusted. "Who are you and why are u here?!" Abuella asked firmly
"Oh my apologies, I am y/n. I'm part of the miracle you see, after last years um problem I was sent to make sure nothing went wrong next week"the beautiful girl responded
"Send by who!? How are you the miracle!?" Abuella demanded
"Um well I don't really know" the girl played with her hair nervously
Me madre butted in "will someone help the poor girl down for god sakes"

Isabella made her a nice little vine ladder to get down with,the girl was hesitant at first but soon climbed down the ladder. Abuella approached her and firmly commanded that she left. The girl looked shocked "why?"
"Because you have interrupted our dinner and barged into our home expecting to be treated with respect and open arms,I will not allow you to harm my family" abuella explained
"Oh I would never harm anyone" the girl panicked at the accusation
"Abuella don't be so harsh" Mirabel said
"Mirabel do not tell me what to do,I want this horrible liar out of my home immediately" abuella yelled
"Liar?! I am no liar!" The girl said angrily as all the candles in the room flicked. Abuella looked concerned looking around the room at the flickering flames. The girl composed herself and all the candles returned to normal, she took a deep breath "sorry about that" the girl said. Abuella left the room knowing she had lost this fight as the rest of us stared at the girl. Luisa spoke up and asked "what did you say your name was again?"
"Oh I'm y/n l/n" y/n said
"And how are you the miracle"
"Um I'm not exactly, I'm only part of the miracle. The candle to be specific, giving me control over the element of fire" y/n explained
"Cool" I said with a smile

Y/n's POV:
I feel like I've came at a bad time but I can't do anything about that,they all look so friendly and welcoming except Abuella but oh well
"I must apologise for ruining your dinner, if you don't mind I'll go get a door?" I asked
"Oh dear don't apologise and go ahead" a woman in a blue apron said

I walked upstairs as a boy with long Curley hair stared at me in awe. I opened a free door and stepped inside revealing a room with a double bed and raging fire all around the outsides, forever burning big blazing fire. A reminder of how dangerous and damaging my powers would be in the wrong hands.i sit on my bed and blink my drooping eyes,i lay down and go to sleep
