"you good" kai asked looking toward, towards the road. i can't lie and say he don't look good, but i'm kind of still in a relationship so i need to stop.
"i'm straight, why" he shrugged, "iono, you just seem down".
"oh yeah? i got a lot on my mind"
"i can take it off" he mumbled but i heard him, "huh"
"nothing" he shook his head. "you can just drop me off at home, i'll send you my address" i pulled out my phone. "nah, you not going home like that. heard you be onnat suicidal shit"
"what" i said with an attitude, "yeah, zay was telling us about what happened, im sorry about what happened to you though. on some real shit" i shook my head, flabbergasted at the fact he's been telling my business.
"so you gonna tell me what's wrong" he stared at me while we were sitting at a red light. "once you tell me where we going" he chuckle, "we going to my place"
"um yeah, no thanks. i don't trust it" i said trying to unlock the car door, since we was still sitting at a red light. "chill shawty, ian gone do you no harm. matter of fact, i'll give you this pocket knife" he started laughing, as i straight faced him. i was really serious, i have trust issues now and i can't just go with some random guy to his spot.
"i'm dead serious, let me out the car kai" i mug him. "calm yo crazy ass down, im not dumb enough to mess with my homeboy girl" i didn't say anything as he continued driving. we rode in a comfortable silence the rest of the time.

i felt someone keep shaking me, "we here girl, is you gone wake up, or you finally dead from poppin' those pills" i slowly opened my eyes. "guess not" he mumbled under his breath.
"you disrespectful as hell bitch" i pushed his hand off my shoulder. "sorry bestie" he laugh getting out the car and opening my door. "nice to see you got some type of manners"
"you just don't stop running those choppers huh" he straight faced me, making me bust out laughing. "shut yo yellow ass up, you rude anyway, fuck i gotta be nice for"
"i really could have left yo ass standing stupid in that house with zay, stop playing with me. cause i will take you the fuck back" he mugged me. "uhn uhn, i don't feel comfortable going into a aggressive lightskin nigga house" he smacked his lips.
"stay outside then" he said walking to his front door. it was too hot for all this, so i followed him. "this nice, you still live with your momma" i looked around. "no bitch"
"well damn, okay bitch" i stared at him while he was on his phone, "you so lanky", "you must wanna fuck, that's obviously why you on my dick so bad" i shrug my shoulders and plop down on his couch.
"don't be on laying my furniture like that" he said and i flicked him off. "so you gone tell me what was wrong" he started off.
i sighed, "my gut tellin' me xavier is cheating on me" i ran my hands through my hair, now in a irritated mood. "nah my mans, ain't like that" kai defended him.
"crazy thing is, yo "mans" is like that, this definitely wouldn't be the first time he has cheated on me, and you know what they say, once a cheater always a cheater".
"damn, he crazy to cheat on you, you had his seed and you fine"
"i'm fine?" i looked up at him. "hell y-, no... that's the only thing you heard bra" he sucked his teeth getting mad at hisself for being flustered, lightskin niggas really do be blushing. "no it was just surprising cause you mean as fuck, and just genuinely complimented me" i laugh, and he sucked his teeth.
"you so sassy, always sucking yo teeth" "what's your full name" i asked him.
" why you being fed, it's kailen carter li" "aww you blasian" he squished his cheeks. "bra stop allat sappy shit, and duh nigga can't you tell" "why you so mean. like you was so nice atfirst, i thought we was besties" i pouted.
"we can be" he said, i shook my head and got up, i went in the kitchen and opened his pantry looking for snacks. "you got netflix" i asked, while pulling a big bag of hot cheeto puffs and walking back over to the couch. "yea why"
"why else, looks like you not taking me home no time soon, so i might as well get comfortable" i sit down on the couch next to him and put my feet on his lap, causing him to smack them down. "you really mean as fuck"
"i got a girl" he said shocking me. "YOU GOT A GIRL? oh my god, im so sorry. if you would have been told me that, i swear i wouldn't-" he cut me off.
"chill, she prolly out there cheatin on me, she ain shit. she really just a quick fuck with a title" i nod my head slowly, grab my chips and move to the other couch. it's not that i was mad, i just know if i was the girl, i wouldn't want another bitch all up on my man.
"why you actin' like that, you still my best" he said, i shook my head stuffing a puff in my mouth. "so nigga regardless, it's called boundaries. And that's why i don't let my 'boyfriend' have a bestfriend"
"i know you not boutta keep diggin' yo hands in that bag" he looked at me stupid while i was eating the chips. "i'm eating the whole thing, so it was no point of putting it in a baggie" i shrug.
"you fat as fuck, you not eatin' allat, that's a family size bag" "oh my gosh, can you just pass me the remote". i roll my eyes, snatching it from him. "you need to calm yo lil ass down, i'll fuck you up" "mhm" i waved him off turning on greys anatomy.
