A/n: I'll try to do my best so no mean comments ;w;
--------------------------------------------------------------
Strickler: "The Peloponnesian War was actually three wars fought between Athens and Sparta. The first war is known as the Archimidian War. Type that into your search engines. A-R-C-H-I-M-I-D-I-A-N."

Y/n and the rest of the class were typing there things on their computers. Meanwhile Jim was looking/staring at Claire. Toby saw this and sighs.

Toby: "Really?"

Y/n looked at them (your sitting on the left of claire).

Toby: "Close your mouth. You're drooling."

Jim: "No. No, I'm not. What are you doing?"

Toby: "Research"

Jim: "Hey, look up "talking amulet"."

Y/n's thoughts: 'Did the amulet already chose one of them?'

Toby: "I already did that. All I got was toys. One of them was a plushie."

The plushie squeaks.

Strickler: "Jim, would you agree?"

Jim pops out of thought and turns to the teacher in surprise.

Jim: "sir?"

Strickler: "With Herodotus' opinion on his tactics of war, as I've described."

Jim: Oh, uh...

Toby whistles while looking away back to his computer. Same like y/n who went back to her computer.

Jim: uh, absolutely.

Strickler: Excellent. Which tactics, specifically?

Jim: The, uh... winning ones?

The school bell rings while the students started laughing. And everyone was starting to get up, same with y/n.

Strickler: All right. All right. Don't forget, Michaelson, chapters four and five. Also, Jim may I have a word?

Y/n was standing behind the wall, listening to their conversation.

Jim: Oh.

Strickler: Jim, you're distracted. You fell asleep between the invasion of Attica and the peace of Nicias, and your attention wandered for the rest of the class.

Jim: Sorry. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night.

Strickler: I know it's just you, your sister, and your mother and you want to help them both.

Y/n: hums sadly

Jim: My mom's just very tired and my sister has some problems with sleeping, Mr. Strickler. She's been working double shifts at the clinic.

Strickler: I believe I'm overdue for a conversation with your mother. Have her call me, please.

Jim: takes the note "Uh..."

Strickler: And feel free to drop by my office if you ever need to talk.

Jim: Yeah, I'll do that.

Strickler: Oh, and, Jim. If you fancy Miss Nunez, I submit that talking to Will be much more effective then staring at.

Y/n just giggles at that.

Timeskip

Toby was having some trouble on climbing on the rope.

Toby: Hang on. Almost there. So close. So close!

Jim: Come on, tobes. You've got this.

Toby: [grunts] So close! [Yelps]
