Chapter 9 - Rose Petals

"WOW!" Juvia exclaimed as they enter the resort. "Juvia thinks this place is amazing!"

"I agree!" Lucy exclaimed
"Mee too!" Erza called in behind her.
"I'm tired!!!!" Levy complained, "I want FairyBucks!!!"

"I know you want coffee, but we need to get our keys Levy." Mirajane said as she consulted Levy.

Natsu and Gajeel slowly walked into the resort and bumped into a bell-hopper, they slowly crept in and face planted into two of the lobby's couches.

"YOU BAKAS! YOU CANT JUST DO THAT!!" Levy yelled in a grumpy mood. "I WANT FAIRYBUCKS!!!(Starbucks)"

"I brought FairyBucks!" Gray calls as he walks in.

Levy bolts to Gray and snatches two caramel sparklechinos. She gulps down one and starts to work on the other.

"Man, you just drank yours and now your drinkin mine..." Gray sets the drinks down on an end table and the gang comes around to grab their drinks.

Erza walks up to Mirajane who is happily sipping on her cotton candy drink and questions, "So what are the sleeping arrangements?"

"Mmmm? Oh! Everyone gather around!" Mira calls. Erza sits there confused as to why Mira didn't answer her question. The gang gathered up and Mira explained. "Girls and boys are split. All girls in one suite and all boys in another." Everyone cheered due to the fact that they did not have to deal with the other sex in their sleeping quarters.

"I will go and check in..." Mira happily claimed as she went to the front desk. Erza followed and looked back to all of her friends and smiled to see the girls looking through the different spa treatment and the boys excited to hit the beach. She thought some more about the upcoming events on this trip and it hit her.

Where was Jellal?

Erza walked back to the girls and asked if they have seen him and they stated that they have not seen him. She quickly went over to Mira who has finished checking in and grabbed a room key and told her that she would meet up with them later. She wanted to find Jellal.

She walked to the side of the lobby and pushed open the door and immense amounts of heat swept her entire body. She immediately requipped into a yellow sundress with little blue flowers. Her feet were bare and she stepped into the sand. The sand went in between her toes and she stood there for a moment taking in the beautiful view. The sun was setting on the crystal blue ocean and the Palm trees swayed in the light breeze. She started to walk through the sand in search of the blue haired Mage that disappeared quite some time ago. She trudged through the sand looking for him and asked the occasional person that she saw if they have seen the blue haired Mage with they mysterious tattoo. After quite some time, Erza finally gives up and goes back to the hotel. She passes through the lobby and one of the receptionists calls her name. She turns towards the front desk and sees a little woman with short brown hair and glasses. The woman smiles at Erza brightly and says, "Here is your key." She hands Erza a little paper pouch that is little enough to hold one card.

"Oh, sorry you must have the wrong person because I already have my card." She pulls out her card for proof and shows it to the woman. The woman shoos the gesture away and hands the card to her. Erza became extremely confused and questioned the room number and floor. "You will know which floor. The rose petals will lead the way..." Erza is now super confused and turns around. She then sees a trail of pink and red rose petals scattered across the floor towards the elevators. She follows them but then realized that it is bringing her to the penthouse elevator... She goes into the elevator and slides the car. She clicks the button and the elevator shoots up. She looks at herself through the reflection of the elevator. And fixes her hair and requips on some black flats to cover her sandy toes. The elevator finally reached the top floor and more colorful rose petals trail to the door. It stops at the door and she uses the room key that the woman had given her to open the door. She steps into the penthouse of the hotel and admired the beauty of the room. She wanders around the room and looks around to find the dining room, kitchen, living room, a bathroom, a bedroom, and the balcony. She looks some more to find that there is a second floor. She pass up the steps and is lead to a grand door. She opens the door and steps inside and closes the door behind her.
