"so i got a notification that ryland was typing, then i checked and he wasn't anymore." i tells alex as i eat a taki from the purple bag in my hands. alex nods at my statement. "then he starts typing again, and i check and his bitmoji wasn't there anymore, i'm so confused!!" i tell her as i eat another chip.

"what the heck, what does he want? well actually, what doesn't he want." alex questions.
"it's been a week since you guys kissed, he needs to talk about it with you some day, maybe that's what he was typing." she speculates and i sigh handing alex the bag of chips that she gladly takes and starts to eat.

"i don't know." i say, "i've been avoiding blake ever since." i reveal.
"good." she states as she pours chips in her mouth from the bag.

"alex. what if ryland moved away to antarctica forever or he went to jail, would you still be team ryland?" i asked her, curious on her answer.
she looks at me as she swallows the chips that we're in her mouth. she gets the water that was next to her, drinks it, then looks at me again.

"yes." she says.
"you know, nick is not on team ryland, i have to convince him to be team ryland. he's team .. blake .." she added.

"what really? nick and ryland are best friends though.." i wonder. she nods.
"yeah it's like weird.. but he'll realize eventually that ryland is the one. you need to realize it too." alex assures me. i blink at her.
