Hey everyone, i'm just an ordinary 15 year old girl who loves writing. This is my first poem and my very first try to writeup something from inner me...Hope you like it. Will love to read your recommendations :)
Under the shadow of the clouds in the sky
Here I stand alone in the night
Away from the people busy with their sights
Thinking where I'm falling in a while
Salty drops falling on ground
As I let my heart out
Asking 1 question on repeat
Why did you have to choose me
Fighting with my own fears
Now that I cannot bear
Trying to connect to a soul up high
Feeling myself breaking now
He says that he is with me
Standing here supporting me
Rubbing my blurry vision I try to see
Still I don't know why I can't see
Things are shattering by my side
I just want to hold him tight
Sleep in his arms tonight
For just once again in my life
Then there is a change in the night
A bright curve peeks from the side
It stare at me if it's trying to say
Get up girl and find your way
There is a urge somewhere in me
Telling me to not get weak
Asking me to stand up now
To believe in my wings and fly out
I stood up again gathering pieces around me
Not once complaining about anything
Knowing yeah I can do everything
Now I say just try me
