A chat popped out of nowhere and I clicked it full of curiosity. Justin sends a photo of his cat, Saoirse. I don't know what to reply... I and Justin already cut ties 1 year ago.
"Uhm? Mister? xsend?"
"No, I intended to show this picture of Saoirse. I think she misses Kuro, despite playing with Laoise." Oohh, Does he send me this to tell me his cat misses mine? I'm still confused, is it easy for him to just slide into my chats like that?
"Oh, why didn't you tell me, I would've brought Kuro there"
"I'm shy HAHAHAHA" I miss these caps-lock laughs, It's been a while.
"I was surprised at your sudden message"
"Ahhh hehehhe" Cute.
"How are you? How's the 2?"
"Fine, Saoirse became a maldita and Laoise is always playful"
"really? HAHAHAHAHA aww."
"How about Kuro?"
"He's fine, He's already a big cat."
"Really?! I want to see him!" I send a picture of Kuro with Me.

"I miss the both of you" He immediately unsent the message right after. Imma pretend I didn't see that. You're being obvious, Jah.
"What is that?"
"Oh, nothing, nothing. xsend"
"you're good at feeling things. I just wondered how you're doing these days. HAHAHAHAHA" I may be showy, but it's better than letting the convo get dry.
"Really?"
"Yes, Not lying" and we continued chatting until 2 AM. Is this how we missed each other so much? wow. These long chats remind me of our old friendship.

I woke up at 9 in the morning when I see my phone has a notification.
"Ken, Let's meet at BGC at 2 pm. Please bring Kuro." I immediately stood up. damn! His message became my coffee. What's with the sudden meet up tho?
2 PM drops and I'm here at the meeting spot.
"Ken!" I saw Justin with his older brother, Yani, and the 2 pets with them. I shook hands with Yani first. Something flashed beyond my sight; A dark glimpse of him crying, and fuming in anger. T-this is creepy. The next one, Justin. and as expected, it happened again. His healthy skin becomes pale, eyes crying for help, His body full of blood, some of his skin was eaten by a dark figure behind his back. I tried forgetting it all just to continue this hangout after 1 year of missing him. We just stroll around with the 3 pets.
"What do you guys want to buy for snacks?"
"Tiger Milktea. Ken? Ken!"
"W-what?"
"What do you want to buy for snacks?" Yani repeated.
"Coffee Milktea please." Yani nods and left.
"Meow!" We look down at our cats who are just staring at each other, while the only puppy, Laoise, is just playful as always.
"Laoise" I called her and she immediately comes to me. I petted her and placed her on my lap.
"MEOW!" Kuro immediately got jealous at the sight of it. I give Laoise back to Justin and carried Kuro after.
"You're a Jealous Guy, Huh?" I and Justin chuckled. Even so, I cannot forget what I saw earlier.
"Uhh Ken, I have something to tell you, That's why I called for a meet up-" I can't hear him properly, I-i'm horrified...
"J-Jah, c-can we just message e-each other? I'm not feeling w-well." Jah, I'm scared...
"what do you mean? I can buy you some tabs-" Yani came with our snacks.
"N-no need, Thank you" I forced a smile.
"B-but, Ken, I still have something to tell you."
"We c-can talk about it next time please?" I carried Kuro and ran away. I'm being anxious because of these again. I stopped in an alley and took a glance at Kuro who's now looking at me with his cute little eyes.
"Kuro, Don't hurt Jah please..." I cried as I realized... He's the dark figure eating Justin's flesh. I hugged Kuro tightly.
"I love you, Kuro-channn" My voice cracked because of sobbing. No, I can't and I won't let Him and Jah hurt each other. I whimpered more as I recognize, I'm the one holding the knife... I'm the one who stabbed Justin... no, no, no, I wouldn't let that happen.
"I'm so scared..." It took me a little while to settle, and after that, we went home. While walking, I saw Kuro already fell asleep in my arms. I smiled at the sight of it. but, I can't stop being in reverie... I'm a psychic, and I can't avoid it... That was also the reason why I cut ties with Justin before. Because I'm worried that I might hurt him...
'Ken? Did you get home?
'please reply.'
'I'm worried, Ken.'
'How do you feel?'
'Ken!'
His messages keep flooding my notifications... It kills me for ignoring him. It's like 100 knives stabbing me all at once. As I stare at the plain and empty wall, I didn't realize that my tears are already falling... Is there a way to stop the predictions from happening?! Please give me an answer!
'Will you reply if I'll say the thing I wanted to tell you?'
'Ken, I like you.'
'More than a bestfriend.'
and That's where I loosed it, Migraine attacks again. but this time... It's more painful. It's throbbing more than before, It feels like someone had shot me. I whined as it never stopped.
"K-Kuro..."
and everything went pitch black...

|Ken's Uncle POV|

"Kuroooo, Ken! I'm home!" I heard Kuro meowing non-stop. It's like He's crying?
"Kuro? Where are youuuu?" Then I found Kuro in Ken's room, I cover my mouth when I gasped in shock as I see Ken on the floor with his overflowing blood and h-his room is a mess! I immediately called for an ambulance.
"Ken! Ken!!" I keep on shaking him with my shivering hands. I've never been this scared before! His blood is all over his body. His hands were holding a bloody knife! D-don't tell me?... No, no, no... He would never do that to himself! I found a cloth and gently pushed it onto his wound.
"K-ken" I cried looking at his face... His moreno skin became pale. I'm scared, please don't leave. I'm in distress.

We're here at the hospital... but my shivering didn't stop. I cover my face with my hands that are full of his blood. What Happened?! Why does it look like he stabbed himself?!
"Meow" Kuro gently pats my arm. I was enlightened as I remember there was 2 cameras installed in the hallway and one in my room which is just across his. I hurriedly snatched my phone out of the pocket despite my hands being shaky.
'Ken went inside the apartment carrying Kuro in his arms. He placed the cat on his bed and proceeded to his room. He sat on the floor at the edge of his bed, facing the plain empty wall in 20 minutes, crying his heart out. after a while, I can hear him groaning because of his migraine. It didn't stop for 5 minutes until he faints... Some seconds later, He stood up, laughing like a maniac. He spotted a sharp object and chases Kuro with it. You can see how Kuro is frightened because of His owner's stage, He kept running away until Ken caught him and tried hurting him. But I guess the real Ken fought to stop it and ended up stabbing himself.'
I whimpered after the video.
"Tito!" I lift my head and I saw Justin with his brother.
"Who was rushed in here?! What happened?!" Both exclaimed worriedly.
"H-how do you know, w-we're here?"
"I saw you through the Ambulance's window passing by to where we are. So, Where's Ken? Who was rushed in here?"
" Ken. K-ken is the one." Their eyes widen in shock.
"W-what? Why?!" Justin is being in distress as I am. Yani gets my phone on the floor and saw the CCTV video.
"J-Jah!" He hurriedly showed it to him.

I saw them at the edge of the hallway... They are crying because of me, They are worried because of me... This is all my fault... I'm sorry. Justin will hate me right? For leaving him too soon. I'm sorry, Jah... but, this is better than what the prophecy said. Our feelings are mutual, but not our future. and That is my Excuse.

"This is my Excuse, so I can let you go..."
"Ken, Let's go."

I turned my head back, for a second..

"Meow"

Kuro..

He was staring at me like he can see me looking back at him. I kneel and caressed his head.

"Take good care of them for me, please."

I cupped his little face and kissed his forehead before saying goodbye for the last time.

"I trust you, Kuro."
